TATA has recently launched the all-new Altroz 2025. It is available in all three options as before, such are Petrol, Diesel and CNG. According to the latest updates, the TATA Altroz 2025 is going to be available with an AMT option with a petrol engine. It is expected to be available in the next few months.
According to recent sales data, the automatic variants hold about 25% of Altroz sales. AMT option is available with existing TATA Tiago and TATA Tigor CNG.

Will Altoz 2025 carry over the powertrain from Tiago and Tigor CNG?
At present, the company already made available the AMT Gearbox in the Tiago and Tigor CNG. That means company is already offering such technology and it is obvious that it is available only with premium models. None other than but the TATA is the only automobile company that provides automatic option with CNG powertrains. Somehow the company missed it at the launch but now it is going to introduce very soon.
If talk about the specification of the Altroz, it uses the same 1.2-litre engine as the Tiago and Tigor CNG. It is expected that the power and torque will also the same as of 73hp and 95Nm. Most probably the company will offer dual CNG cylinder setup, like as pre-facelift Altroz.

Sailesh Chandra, MD of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited, told that the 70% buyers are first time buyers of Altroz. About 25% buyers choose the automatic variant. So after seeing the demand of the buyer the company has decided to introduce AMT option in newly launched car.
