Jaguar Land Rover has officially opened bookings for the Range Rover Electric in India, marking a major step in the luxury SUV brand's transition towards electric mobility. Inside, the SUV continues with a premium cabin layout focused on comfort and technology. The First Edition also gets exclusive colour and interior combinations aimed at enhancing its luxury positioning.

Strong Off-Road Capability

Despite switching to electric power, Range Rover has focused heavily on maintaining the model's off-road credentials. The EV uses advanced traction-management technology that can respond extremely quickly to changing surface conditions.

The SUV can also tackle water crossings of up to 900mm, while its electric powertrain and advanced chassis systems are designed to deliver strong traction across different terrains.

Range Rover Electric: A New Chapter for the Brand

The Range Rover Electric represents a significant milestone for JLR as the first Range Rover to use a fully electric powertrain. The company has subjected the SUV to extensive physical and virtual testing, including testing in extreme temperatures and demanding off-road conditions.

With its 600km claimed range, 118.5kWh battery, 542hp dual-motor setup, fast charging and traditional Range Rover luxury, the new electric SUV is positioned as a premium alternative for buyers looking for zero-emission mobility without giving up performance or off-road capability.

The model is expected to become one of the most important additions to the luxury EV segment in India as the brand expands its electric portfolio.
