Bridgestone India has marked 30 years of operations in the country with the launch of a new digital film titled ‘Tyres Carry Life’. The campaign focuses on the company's long-standing emphasis on tyre quality, safety and the role tyres play in everyday mobility.
The film looks beyond tyres as a conventional automotive product and highlights how they remain directly connected to people's daily journeys. From school commutes and family trips to business travel and long-distance road journeys, the campaign presents tyres as an important part of the mobility experience.
The central message of ‘Tyres Carry Life’ is that the responsibility of a tyre manufacturer extends beyond producing and selling a tyre.
Bridgestone says every stage of the product journey — including design, engineering, testing and manufacturing — carries significance because the final product is responsible for maintaining contact between the vehicle and road.
The campaign draws inspiration from Bridgestone founder Shojiro Ishibashi's philosophy of “Serving Society with Superior Quality.” The company says this philosophy continues to influence its approach to product quality and its relationship with customers.

Bridgestone's latest campaign comes as India's automotive industry undergoes significant changes.
The growing adoption of electric vehicles, changing customer expectations and developments in the tyre retail market are influencing how tyre manufacturers approach product development and customer service.
Electric vehicles in particular are creating new requirements for tyres because of factors such as vehicle weight, instant torque and the importance of rolling efficiency. This makes tyre engineering an increasingly important part of the wider EV ecosystem.
Bridgestone India says it intends to continue focusing on quality, innovation, safety and performance while developing products and solutions for India's changing mobility requirements.
Bridgestone India began its operations in the country in 1996, while domestic tyre manufacturing started in 1998 at its Pithampur facility in Madhya Pradesh.
The company later expanded its manufacturing footprint with its Chakan facility in Pune. In 2023, its Indore plant reached the milestone of producing its 100 millionth tyre.
Bridgestone also established a Satellite Technology Centre at its Pune facility in 2025, strengthening its local tyre-development capabilities.
For everyday motorists, the campaign serves as a reminder that tyres are a key part of vehicle safety. Tyre condition, tread depth, pressure and overall maintenance can influence braking, handling and road grip.
As vehicles become more technologically advanced, the tyre remains the component connecting the vehicle to the road.
With ‘Tyres Carry Life’, Bridgestone India is using its 30-year milestone to highlight that connection while outlining its continued focus on safer journeys, product quality and evolving mobility needs in India.
The campaign therefore marks not only three decades of Bridgestone's presence in the country but also the company's stated intention to remain focused on tyre technology and customer requirements as India's automotive landscape changes
