Outline - Minister Nitin Gadkari highlights the need to switch to biofuels and electric vehicles for a cleaner, more sustainable future. India's transport sector is a major source of air pollution, and the country imports a lot of fossil fuels every year. To address this, projects like bio-CNG and waste-to-bio-CNG are being developed. These projects help the environment, create new jobs, support exports, and make India less dependent on foreign fuel.
Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, emphasized that switching to alternatives like biofuels and electric vehicles is crucial for achieving sustainable development and making India self-reliant.
