MG Motor India has officially introduced the Hector Tomahawk EV in the Indian market at an introductory starting price of ₹19.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The new electric SUV becomes the brand’s first production model based on its ADAPT multi-new-energy platform and is offered with both five- and seven-seat layouts.
Bookings for the Hector Tomahawk EV are now open, while customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in September 2026.

MG is also offering a limited Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option for select bookings. Under this plan, the vehicle price starts at ₹13.99 lakh, with a battery rental charge of ₹4.90 per km.

The Hector Tomahawk EV gets a 69.2 kWh MAGIC battery pack, paired with a permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor.

The SUV also gets Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) functionality, allowing the battery to provide electricity to compatible household appliances and homes.
MG says the battery has gone through more than 2,000 bench tests along with over 490 full-vehicle validation tests. The company is also providing a lifetime warranty on the high-voltage battery for the first owner.
The new electric SUV measures 4,745 mm in length and 1,770 mm in height, while its wheelbase stands at 2,810 mm.
The vehicle has a width of 2,130 mm including the ORVMs, while the ground clearance measured at the battery level is 230 mm.
The exterior gets a distinctive EV-focused design featuring Beacon lighting, an illuminated MG logo, Rotor-style alloy wheels, sculpted bumpers and a powered tailgate.

The five-seat version offers up to 610 litres of luggage space. The seven-seat models feature sliding and reclining second-row seats, along with 60:40 split-folding functionality and a tip-and-tumble mechanism.
MG has equipped the Hector Tomahawk EV with its i-SMART 3.0 connected-car technology, offering more than 80 connected features.
The SUV also gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, over-the-air software updates and a digital key.
Another highlight is the GenAI-powered voice assistant, which understands more than 30 Hinglish commands. Multiple experience modes are also available to customise the cabin environment.
Safety equipment is extensive, with six airbags offered as standard across the range.
