Upcoming Skoda Cars in 2026

Škoda Auto is gearing up for a significant year in India in 2026, focusing on refreshing its core models and exploring new segments, including electric vehicles. After a busy 2025 that saw the launch of the all-new Kodiaq SUV and the Octavia RS performance sedan, Škoda is now poised to bolster its mass-market portfolio and expand into EVs.

Latest Skoda Cars in India 2026

1. Škoda Kushaq Facelift — Early 2026

Skoda Kushaq Facelift - Key Updates to Expect Before Launch

One of the most anticipated launches is the facelifted Škoda Kushaq, expected in Q1 2026 with an estimated price between Rs.11 lakh and Rs.18 lakh.

  • The updated Kushaq will receive design tweaks to the front and rear, possibly including full-length LED light bars and revised bumpers.
  • Inside, subtle updates in trims, materials and cabin colours are likely.
  • Škoda may introduce segment-first features such as a rear-seat massage function and enhanced digital displays.
  • Safety and tech upgrades are expected, including Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera and improved AC performance.
  • Engine options — the familiar 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI petrol units — will likely continue, while the automatic gearbox could be upgraded to an 8-speed unit.

As Škoda’s key compact SUV offering, the updated Kushaq will take on rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra and Maruti Grand Vitara.

2. Škoda Slavia Facelift — Late 2026

Following the SUV refresh, Škoda is planning a facelift for the Slavia midsize sedan, expected in Q4 2026 with prices around Rs.10 lakh to Rs.18 lakh.

  • The Slavia facelift is expected to remain close to the current silhouette but with updated lights, bumpers and alloy wheels.
  • Interior enhancements may include new displays and the addition of ADAS safety systems, an important upgrade in comparison to competitors like the Honda City and Hyundai Verna.
  • The most significant powertrain change could be a shift from a 6-speed automatic to an 8-speed automatic for the turbo-petrol engine.

The refreshed Slavia will aim to stay competitive in the midsize sedan segment, which has seen heightened activity from rivals.

3. Škoda Elroq EV — Possibly H2 2026

Škoda may also bring the Elroq electric SUV to India in the second half of 2026, though this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.

  • Positioned as an electric SUV rivaling models like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and BMW iX1 LWB, the Elroq could mark Škoda’s strong push into India’s EV market.
  • In Europe, the Elroq is available in multiple battery configurations (around 52–77 kWh) and even a dual-motor RS variant, with ranges up to 560 km and brisk acceleration.
  • It features Škoda’s latest Modern Solid design language, a spacious cabin with a large infotainment screen and advanced ADAS suite.

If launched locally, the Elroq could help Škoda tap into the growing demand for premium EVs in India — a segment that’s gaining pace with more offerings from global brands.
