Kawasaki bike has introduced the 2027 Vulcan S in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 8.23 lakh. The latest model-year cruiser continues with its familiar 649cc parallel-twin engine and low-slung design, while receiving a few mechanical and cosmetic updates.
The new Vulcan S is offered in India in a single standard variant and gets a new Metallic Carbon Gray/Metallic Bluish Green colour combination. The motorcycle retains its focus on comfortable ergonomics, easy handling and accessible seat height.

The 2027 Kawasaki Vulcan S continues to use a 649cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke parallel-twin engine with DOHC and eight valves. The motor produces 61 PS at 7,500 rpm and 62.4 Nm at 6,600 rpm, paired with a six-speed transmission and chain final drive.
Compared with the 2026 model, the latest version gets an increase in torque, while peak power remains unchanged. The additional torque is aimed at improving the motorcycle's everyday acceleration and flexibility.
The Vulcan S retains its distinctive long-and-low cruiser styling with a modern appearance rather than a traditional chrome-heavy design. The motorcycle features a low 705mm seat height, making it easier for riders to reach the ground when stopping.
Kawasaki has also equipped the bike with adjustable footpegs, allowing three positions — standard, 25mm forward and 25mm backward. The clutch and brake levers are also adjustable.
The 2027 Vulcan S continues with a telescopic front fork and a linkage-equipped rear monoshock. The rear shock gets seven-position preload adjustment, allowing riders to tune the setup according to rider size and load.
The motorcycle rides on an 18-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel. Kawasaki also continues to offer dual-channel ABS for braking safety.
The latest model uses smaller brake discs than the outgoing version, with the front disc measuring 272mm and the rear disc measuring 216mm.
