Maserati cars has brought the updated Grecale luxury SUV to India with revised styling, upgraded cabin details and a more powerful engine option. The biggest mechanical change is the introduction of a 390hp 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 in the Modena variant. The existing range starts at ₹1.14 crore, although the facelift's revised India prices have not been independently confirmed.
Italian luxury carmaker Maserati has introduced the updated Grecale SUV in India as part of its refreshed luxury vehicle range for 2026. The facelift brings cosmetic changes, new personalisation options and important powertrain revisions, strengthening the Grecale's position in the premium performance SUV segment.
The updated model is part of Maserati's broader product refresh, which also includes revised versions of the GranTurismo coupe and GranCabrio convertible. The company is also showcasing its track-focused GT2 Stradale in India.
The Grecale continues to combine everyday SUV cars practicality with the performance-oriented character associated with the Maserati brand. However, the new Modena V6 variant is the most significant highlight of this update.
The updated Grecale receives a redesigned front section that gives the SUV a sharper and more aggressive appearance. The front bumper and grille have been revised, with the new shark-nose styling taking inspiration from the Maserati MCPura supercar.
The redesigned bumper also incorporates air curtains intended to guide airflow around the front wheel arches. These changes give the SUV a more distinctive appearance while contributing to its aerodynamic design.
Maserati has also introduced new alloy wheel designs, including the 20-inch Asteria and 21-inch Crono options. The new Grigio Lamiera Shiny exterior finish is another addition available through the brand's Fuoriserie personalisation programme.
The overall silhouette and familiar proportions of the Grecale remain largely unchanged. Instead of a complete redesign, Maserati has focused on refining the existing styling.
The cabin receives several detail-oriented updates designed to improve the luxury experience. One of the noticeable changes is the new octagonal steering wheel, which is available in perforated leather or Alcantara, depending on the configuration.
The digital clock also receives a redesigned appearance, featuring a mineral crystal dial and a metal bezel. The gear selector has been updated with metal buttons, integrated backlighting and capacitive haptic technology.
The Grecale continues to offer a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA). Other available equipment includes air suspension, a configurable head-up display and a premium Sonus faber sound system with up to 21 speakers.
Buyers can further personalise the cabin with materials such as wood, carbon fibre and leather. Equipment availability may differ according to the variant and selected options.
The most important update is under the bonnet of the Modena variant. Maserati has replaced its previous 2.0-litre engine with a 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 petrol engine producing 390hp.
The new engine brings six-cylinder performance to the middle of the Grecale range. It is designed to deliver stronger acceleration and a more engaging driving experience than the previous four-cylinder Modena configuration.
The entry-level Grecale continues with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol mild-hybrid engine producing 300hp. At the top of the range, the Grecale Trofeo retains its 3.0-litre Nettuno V6, producing 530hp.
The Trofeo is the performance-focused version of the SUV, with Maserati claiming a 0-100kph acceleration time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 285kph.
The updated range therefore offers buyers different performance levels, from the relatively accessible mild-hybrid version to the more powerful V6-powered models.

Pricing is an important part of the Grecale's India launch. The earlier Maserati Grecale range was advertised with a starting price of ₹1.14 crore (ex-showroom), while higher variants were positioned at significantly higher price points.
However, this ₹1.14 crore figure should not automatically be considered the confirmed starting price of the facelifted SUV. Maserati's updated India pricing and variant-wise price list need to be checked separately.
The new V6-powered Modena version and the Trofeo are expected to occupy higher positions in the range. Optional personalisation features and equipment packages can also affect the final purchase price.

The Grecale is not the only Maserati model receiving an update for India. The refreshed GranTurismo coupe and GranCabrio convertible are also part of the company's updated product range.
Both models receive revised front air intakes, a redesigned central splitter and clear-lens rear lights. Maserati says the front-end changes help improve aerodynamic performance and downforce.
The two grand tourers continue with the 3.0-litre twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine. Their Modena versions produce 490hp, while the Trofeo versions now develop 590hp, representing a 40hp increase over the previous output.
The eight-speed automatic gearbox has also been recalibrated for quicker responses. Maserati is expanding the personalisation programme with new exterior paint finishes, including Green Jupiter Matte, Blu Denim, Bronzo Lucido, Bronzo Matte, Grigio Mistero, Rosso Velluto and Oro Lirico.
The updated Grecale gives Maserati an opportunity to strengthen its presence in India's premium luxury SUV market. Its revised design, additional cabin features and new V6-powered Modena variant make the range more performance-focused.
The 390hp Nettuno V6 is particularly important because it offers buyers a stronger engine option without moving directly to the top-spec Trofeo. This creates a more powerful middle option for customers who want a balance of luxury and performance.
The final value proposition will depend on the updated India prices, variant availability and the equipment offered as standard. Buyers interested in the facelift should compare the new versions with the outgoing model before making a purchase decision.
The Maserati Grecale facelift brings meaningful updates to the Italian luxury SUV, including a redesigned front fascia, improved cabin details and a new 390hp Nettuno V6 engine for the Modena variant. The 300hp entry-level version and 530hp Trofeo continue to offer different performance choices.
While the earlier Grecale range was advertised from ₹1.14 crore, that figure should not be treated as the confirmed facelift price. The updated model's final India pricing and variant-wise details remain important points for prospective buyers.
