According to its broader roadmap for 2026, BMW is aiming for a total of 27 launches. This lineup will include six all-new models, while four will receive major updates. Additionally, 17 existing models are set to get facelifts or model-year revisions. In the first quarter of 2026, BMW has already rolled out four products.

These include the 2026 BMW X3 30, the latest BMW M2 CS, and the BMW M 1000 R motorcycle. For the rest of the year, BMW plans to introduce 23 more products. Out of these, six will be completely new to the Indian market, either as first-time launches or next-generation updates.

In its core lineup, BMW is set to launch the i5 LWB in the current quarter. The MINI portfolio will be expanded with a non-JCW version of the MINI Countryman, which will be locally assembled. The range may also welcome the MINI Aceman EV. In the BMW Motorrad lineup, the latest addition will be the F 450 GS adventure bike, built on a brand-new twin-cylinder platform and scheduled for launch on April 23, 2026.

The BMW F 450 GS will be produced in India and exported to international markets, making it a significant volume contributor for BMW Motorrad. As for the four models set to receive major updates, one of them is likely to be the BMW iX.

In Q1 2026, BMW recorded sales of 4,354 units, marking a year-on-year growth of 15.67%—its highest-ever first-quarter performance in India. Of the total, 3,382 units were internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, while 1,185 units were electric vehicles (EVs). EV sales saw a remarkable YoY increase of 83.15%. With this strong performance, BMW continues to lead the luxury EV segment in India, holding a market share of over 70%.

BMW’s electric vehicle lineup includes models such as the i5, iX, i7, iX1 Long Wheelbase, along with the MINI electric range. To provide a seamless ownership experience, BMW plans to further expand its charging network across the country. Currently, there are over 6,000 charging stations available nationwide. The brand also offers premium features like charging concierge and intelligent route planning.

In 2026, BMW is also focusing on expanding its retail presence. The company plans to open 19 new outlets across 18 cities. Currently, BMW Group India operates 97 touchpoints spread across 40 cities.
