Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the updated 2026 Toyota Glanza in India, with prices starting at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted premium hatchback receives revised exterior styling, additional comfort and safety features, and a new three-cylinder petrol engine. The latest update aims to strengthen the Glanza's position in India's competitive premium hatchback segment.
The new Toyota Glanza is available in five variants: E, S, G, V and V (O). Its updated equipment list includes ventilated front seats, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a wireless phone charger and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Toyota cars has also introduced new exterior colour options to give the hatchback a fresher appearance.
The 2026 Glanza continues to share its underlying platform and major mechanical components with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. However, Toyota has retained its own styling identity through changes to the front grille and bumper.

The 2026 Toyota Glanza receives a refreshed front profile, featuring a larger grille with satin-finish detailing and a redesigned front bumper. The LED fog lamp housings have also been revised, while the Toyota badge has been repositioned towards the edge of the bonnet.
The side and rear profiles remain largely unchanged, preserving the hatchback's familiar proportions. The model continues with its existing headlamp and tail-lamp design, while the updated front treatment gives it a more contemporary appearance.
Toyota has expanded the colour palette with Digital Teal Green and Bluish Black. These additions complement the existing colour choices and provide buyers with more personalisation options.
The cabin layout remains broadly familiar, but the facelift introduces several equipment upgrades. One of the key additions is ventilated front seats, a feature designed to improve comfort during hot weather and long journeys.
The updated Glanza also gets a wireless phone charger, with a cooling arrangement underneath the charging pad. Other equipment includes a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a head-up display, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and a height-adjustable driver's seat.
The infotainment system supports smartphone connectivity, while the connected-car features add convenience for everyday use. Toyota has also revised the seat upholstery and interior trim to give the cabin a refreshed feel.
A significant development for the 2026 Toyota Glanza is the introduction of Level 2 ADAS on the top-specification variant. The technology adds driver-assistance functions intended to help improve awareness and reduce the risk of certain collisions.
Depending on the specific system and operating conditions, ADAS functions can include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assistance.
The hatchback also offers a 360-degree camera, six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assistance, ISOFIX child-seat anchors and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Feature availability varies by variant, so buyers should check the equipment list before booking.
The updated Toyota Glanza replaces the outgoing four-cylinder petrol engine with a naturally aspirated 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine.
The petrol engine produces approximately 82 bhp and 113 Nm of torque, with power delivered through either a five-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed AMT. An idle start-stop system is also included to help improve fuel efficiency in suitable driving conditions.
A factory-fitted CNG option is available as well. In CNG mode, the engine produces approximately 70 bhp and 102 Nm. Both manual and AMT transmission options are offered for the CNG version, expanding the choices available to buyers looking to reduce fuel expenses.
