This is the first South Korean EV to launch in India. This has limited bookings only. It gives premium mobility to the customers. It is designed to make EV convenient, and accessible. It combines a real-world driving range. It has the ultra-fast charging capabilities, and a spacious interior. The three trim levels that kia offers are Light, Wind, and GT-Line. The official bookings opened on May 26th. Its launch is going to be in June 2022.  

KIA EV6 Price and Features -

This electric crossover is estimated to around 55-60 lakhs. Its electric range on full charge is 425Km. Only 100 units of the EV will be allotted in the first year. The EV has several safety features like emergency braking and automatic high beams. It is a 5-seater. The specifications of the Indian release are not officially announced yet.  In the international version, it has a 58kWh battery with a rear-wheel drive producing 170hp.  It also gets the option of a dual-motor system producing 235hp.

It also has a bigger battery of 77.4KWh producing 229hp. There is a further option if you Seek thrill, a performance oriented 585 hp option can be turned on. There's an all-wheel drive variant as well that has a dual motor setup with 325 bhp and 605 Nm and a 0-100kmph time of just 5.2s. It has an AWD layout and dual-motor setup. 

The launch of the Kia EV6 will play a crucial role in shaping the future of electric mobility in India.  In addition to that, the Kia EV6 will give premium customers a taste of electric mobility at a more affordable price tag compared to current EVs in India.
