The 2026 Tiago facelift sports a much sharper and more modern exterior design. Up front, the hatchback gets slimmer LED headlamps, redesigned bumpers, and integrated DRLs, giving it a more premium road presence. Tata Motors has clearly adopted a cleaner and more contemporary design language for the updated model.
The ICE variants feature a gloss black grille along with fog lamps, while the EV version gets a closed-off front fascia with EV-specific styling elements. At the rear, both models now come equipped with connected-style LED tail lamps, enhancing the car’s wider and more sophisticated appearance.

The updated Tiago lineup also gets newly designed alloy wheels and fresh exterior colour options. The Tiago EV now debuts an eye-catching mint green shade, while the petrol and CNG variants receive a vibrant new coral orange paint option. Despite the design upgrades, the hatchback continues to offer a practical 170 mm ground clearance, making it well-suited for everyday Indian road conditions.

The biggest transformation in the 2026 Tiago facelift can be seen inside the cabin. Tata Motors has introduced a completely redesigned dashboard featuring layered textures and premium fabric inserts across the dashboard and door pads, giving the interior a more modern and upmarket feel.
The updated hatchback also comes packed with a host of new comfort, convenience, and technology features, making the cabin feel more premium and feature-rich than before. Key highlights include:
The updated Tiago now comes equipped with 37 connected car features, along with segment-first built-in Bluetooth connectivity for added convenience. Another standout addition is the new 360-degree camera paired with a blind view monitor, enhancing visibility and overall driving safety.
Tata Motors also claims to have improved seating comfort for both front and rear passengers, making the cabin more comfortable for daily commutes and longer journeys. However, the new Tiago misses out on adjustable headrests for both front and rear occupants.
How Long Do Electric Car Batteries Last
Tata Motors has further enhanced the Tiago’s safety package by strengthening the roll cage and increasing the use of high-strength materials in the body structure. These updates are aimed at improving occupant protection and overall crash safety.
During the launch event in Delhi, Tata also conducted a unique dual crash test demonstration for the Tiago CNG. In the test, the same vehicle first faced a frontal pole impact, after which another Tiago collided into its side. Through this demonstration, Tata highlighted the structural rigidity of the body shell as well as the safety of its twin-cylinder CNG technology.
