BYD is moving a step closer to expanding its India portfolio with the upcoming Atto 2 midsize SUV. The electric SUV has been spotted testing once again on Indian roads, indicating that its official launch could take place later this year. Globally, the BYD Atto 2 is available in both Battery Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) forms. However, since BYD currently sells only fully electric passenger vehicles in India, the Atto 2 is expected to debut here as an EV, although the company has not officially confirmed its powertrain.
