JSW MG Motor India has announced a fresh price revision for two of its popular models, the MG Windsor EV and the flagship MG Majestor SUV cars. Effective for November 2026 onwards, the Windsor EV has become costlier by Rs 15,000, while the Majestor has received a significantly higher price hike of Rs 1 lakh.
The latest revision applies across the respective model ranges, making both vehicles more expensive for prospective buyers. With this update, the MG Windsor EV range is now priced between Rs 14.85 lakh and Rs 19.15 lakh, while the MG Majestor costs between Rs 43.49 lakh and Rs 45.99 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
The price revision comes after earlier increases for both models in 2026. Buyers planning to purchase either vehicle should check the latest variant-wise prices and on-road quotations at their nearest MG dealership.
The MG Windsor EV has received a flat price increase of Rs 15,000 across its standard lineup. The revision applies to the Excite, Exclusive and Essence variants, along with the Exclusive Pro and Essence Pro versions.
Following the latest increase, the standard Windsor EV range is priced from approximately Rs 14.85 lakh to Rs 17.15 lakh. The larger-battery Pro versions are now priced between Rs 18.05 lakh and Rs 19.15 lakh.
The Windsor EV Indulge Edition has been excluded from this price revision and continues to be listed at Rs 18 lakh, ex-showroom.
The latest increase follows an earlier price revision in July 2026, when the Windsor EV received a hike of up to Rs 60,000, depending on the variant. The November revision is comparatively smaller.
The MG Windsor EV is available with two battery pack options, depending on the variant. The standard versions use a 39kWh battery pack, while the Pro variants receive a larger 52.9kWh battery.
The claimed driving range is approximately 331km for the smaller battery version and up to 449km for the larger battery version, based on the respective certified figures.
The Windsor EV is known for its spacious cabin, business-class-inspired rear seating and modern interior layout. Key equipment includes a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display, connected-car technology and multiple comfort features.
The Pro versions also offer additional equipment, including advanced driver assistance systems. The vehicle's combination of cabin space, electric powertrain and feature package has helped it become an important model in MG's Indian portfolio.
The MG Majestor has received a price increase of Rs 1 lakh across all three currently listed variants. These include the Savvy 4X2 six-seater, Savvy 4X2 seven-seater and Savvy 4X4 seven-seater versions.
After the latest revision, the MG Majestor is priced between Rs 43.49 lakh and Rs 45.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
This is the second price revision for the SUV in a period of approximately three months. In August 2026, MG had increased prices of the two-wheel-drive versions by Rs 1.50 lakh, while the four-wheel-drive version remained unchanged at that time.
The latest increase makes the Majestor more expensive for buyers considering a premium full-size diesel SUV.
The MG Majestor is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing approximately 212bhp and 478.5Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The SUV is available with rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. The 4WD version is aimed at buyers who want additional capability for challenging road conditions and off-road driving.
The Majestor also offers a three-row seating layout, with six- and seven-seat configurations depending on the variant.
Its feature list includes dual 12.3-inch displays, a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker JBL audio system, three-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS. Equipment availability varies by variant.
The Majestor competes in the premium full-size SUV space, where it faces established models such as the Toyota Fortuner and Isuzu MU-X. It also overlaps with other premium SUVs in terms of price and positioning.

JSW MG Motor India has not publicly detailed a specific reason for this particular November 2026 price revision. However, automotive manufacturers commonly adjust vehicle prices to account for changes in input costs, component prices, logistics expenses and other manufacturing-related factors.
The impact of the increase is different for the two models. The Windsor EV receives a relatively modest Rs 15,000 revision, while the Majestor becomes Rs 1 lakh more expensive.
For customers, the updated prices mean that the overall purchase budget will need to be revised. The final on-road price will also depend on the city, insurance, registration charges and applicable taxes.
Customers considering the Windsor EV should compare the standard and Pro versions based on their daily driving requirements, battery capacity and budget. Buyers who need a longer claimed range may find the larger-battery Pro versions worth evaluating.
Those considering the Majestor should compare the 4X2 and 4X4 versions based on their regular driving conditions and intended use. The four-wheel-drive model offers additional drivetrain capability, while the 4X2 versions may be sufficient for buyers primarily driving on regular roads.
The latest price hike does not change the vehicles' core specifications, but it does increase their purchase cost. Prospective buyers should confirm the revised price, variant availability and delivery timelines with an authorised MG dealership before booking.
The November 2026 MG price hike makes the Windsor EV Rs 15,000 more expensive and the Majestor Rs 1 lakh costlier. The Windsor EV Indulge Edition remains excluded from the revision, while all three currently available Majestor variants receive the increase.
With both models occupying different segments, the price changes will affect buyers with different budgets and requirements. Customers planning to purchase either MG vehicle should consider the revised ex-showroom prices while calculating their final on-road costs.
