Deliveries are scheduled to begin in April, with a claimed range of 792 km on a single charge. Mercedes-Benz unveiled the new CLA BEV for the Indian market in early March, and has now confirmed that pricing for this next-generation model—offered exclusively as an electric vehicle—will be announced on 24 April. Notably, customer deliveries are also set to commence within the same month.

The 2026 CLA will be offered in two variants – the 200 Standard Range and the 250+ Long Range. These versions are claimed to deliver a range of 542 km and 792 km on a single charge, respectively. Mercedes also states that the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.7 seconds. Additionally, its 85.5 kWh battery pack, supported by an 800-volt architecture, can provide up to 400 km of range with just 20 minutes of charging.

Bookings for the new Mercedes CLA are now open. Buyers can pick from five exterior shades — Alpine Grey, Patagonia Red, Polar White, Cosmic Black, and Clear Blue. The car is equipped with features such as 100W Type-C charging ports, LED headlamps, a redesigned grille with illuminated Mercedes logos, LED tail lamps linked by a light bar, 18-inch alloy wheels, and flush door handles. Inside, it offers a 14-inch infotainment display, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, and two interior theme options.
