Honda ADV160, Rebel 300 and XR300 Bookings Reportedly Begin at Select Dealers

Honda bikes is preparing to expand its premium two-wheeler portfolio in India with several new global products. While Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has not officially announced nationwide bookings for the ADV160, Rebel 300, XR300L and XR300 Rally, booking-related activity has reportedly started at select Honda BigWing dealerships.

The development suggests that Honda dealers are already assessing customer interest ahead of the motorcycles' official market launches. However, buyers should note that dealer-level booking or expressions of interest do not necessarily confirm the final launch date, price or delivery schedule.

Honda has officially confirmed that its newly showcased products will be introduced in India in phases, with individual pricing and availability details to be announced closer to their respective launches.

Honda ADV160: India's New Adventure Scooter

The Honda ADV160 is one of the most interesting additions to Honda's upcoming India lineup. It will introduce an adventure-focused maxi-scooter format to the brand's portfolio and is planned to be locally manufactured in India.

The ADV160 uses a 156.9cc liquid-cooled engine and is designed to combine scooter convenience with adventure-inspired styling. Honda has equipped it with features such as a TFT instrument display, smartphone connectivity, Honda Selectable Torque Control and generous under-seat storage.

The India-spec model is also expected to support E85 fuel, making it one of the first scooters in the country with this capability. Honda has indicated that the scooter will be manufactured in India, which could help the company maintain competitive pricing.

Honda XR300L and XR300 Rally: New Off-Road Choices

Honda is also preparing to introduce the XR300L and XR300 Rally, two motorcycles aimed at riders looking for stronger off-road capability.

The XR300L is expected to have a more trail-focused character, combining everyday usability with off-road ability. Equipment is expected to include long-travel suspension, Honda Selectable Torque Control and switchable dual-channel ABS.

The XR300 Rally takes the concept further with rally-inspired styling and a more touring-oriented setup. Its additional bodywork and wind protection are expected to make it better suited to longer rides while retaining its off-road character.

Honda Rebel 300 Targets the Entry-Level Cruiser Segment

The Honda Rebel 300 will bring a compact cruiser option to Honda's premium motorcycle range. Its low-slung stance, minimalist bodywork and relaxed riding position give it a distinctive bobber-inspired character.

The motorcycle is powered by a 286cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine and is expected to be offered in Standard and E-Clutch versions.

Potential highlights include LED lighting, a TFT instrument display, Honda RoadSync connectivity, navigation and dual-channel ABS. The E-Clutch version could make the Rebel 300 particularly appealing to riders who want the convenience of automated clutch operation without giving up the experience of manual gear changes.

Despite the reported activity at select dealerships, Honda has not yet announced official nationwide bookings, final prices or individual delivery timelines for these upcoming models.

Honda's current strategy is to introduce its new products in phases. The company has already showcased the ADV160 and several other premium models for the Indian market, with detailed launch information expected closer to their respective introductions.
