MG Motor India has officially teased its much-anticipated 2026 MG Majestor, ahead of its scheduled launch in India on February 12, 2026. The teaser, released by JSW MG Motor India, offers a first look at the SUV’s bold exterior design as the brand gears up to unveil its new flagship three-row model.
The teaser video focuses on the Majestor’s imposing front fascia, showcasing several distinct styling elements. These include a large, prominent grille sporting the MG badge centrally, vertically stacked LED headlamps, and L-shaped DRLs that underline the SUV’s aggressive stance. A faux silver skid plate accentuates the rugged theme, while guessed 19-inch machined finish alloy wheels complete the strong road presence.

Though the full interior hasn’t been revealed in the teaser, expectations are already high based on earlier reveals at the 2025 Auto Expo—where MG had displayed the Majestor in metal. Anticipated features include dual 12.3-inch digital displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, 360-degree camera system, powered seats, automatic climate control, and multiple drive modes.
The Majestor is set to be positioned above MG’s current flagship SUV, the MG Gloster, in the brand’s lineup. It aims to compete with segment heavyweights such as the Toyota Fortuner and Skoda Kodiaq—offering customers a premium full-size SUV alternative.
Though official powertrain details are yet to be confirmed, industry insight suggests MG may carry over the Gloster’s 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, producing around 215 hp and 478 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. This setup is expected to be mated to an all-wheel-drive system in higher variants, giving the Majestor capable performance both on and off-road.

MG is likely to position the Majestor at a premium price point above the Gloster, reflecting its flagship status and rich equipment list. For context, the Gloster currently ranges between approximately ₹38.3 lakh and ₹43.1 lakh (ex-showroom). The Majestor is therefore expected to be priced higher, potentially entering the ₹40 lakh+ bracket, depending on specifications and features at launch.
With just weeks remaining before the official unveiling on February 12, 2026, anticipation is building for MG’s bold new SUV. More details on specifications, features, pricing, and variants should emerge closer to the launch event.
