Although no specific date has been announced, the rollout is expected to be completed by the end of the financial year. As of now, the S-Presso, Fronx, Baleno, and Ignis are the only models in the lineup that do not come with six airbags as standard. Among these, only the top variants of the Fronx and Baleno offer six airbags.
Cars under 10 Lakh with 6 Airbags 2025
The Alto K10, Wagon R, Celerio, and Swift are now equipped with six airbags as standard. The Dzire not only includes six standard airbags but also boasts a five-star GNCAP crash test rating.
Maruti, being the leading player in the budget segment with the most extensive lineup of petrol and CNG models, is expected to see a price increase across its range as six airbags are added to the remaining models.
