 Kia is gearing up to launch its all-electric EV6 crossover in the Indian market by later-2022. The brand will commence the EV6 bookings from 26th May and the first batch will be limited to just 100 units due to global supply constraints. We had mentioned earlier that the electric crossover will be available specifically in a GT Line variant in India and that now looks to be true in the leaked brochure.
The leaked official brochure of Kia EV6 reveals more details about the upcoming crossover in Indian spec.
According to the leaked brochure, the India-spec Kia EV6 could be offered in two powertrain options, including the Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and All Wheel Drive (AWD). However, the company is yet to make an official confirmation on the same and we can't rule out the possibility of only the GT-Line model being introduced in India to start with. Both versions will make use of a 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. The RWD single motor variant churns out 225 hp power and 350 Nm torque, while the dual-motor variant produces 321 hp power and 605 Nm torque.
