The 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is available in four exterior shades: Gravity Gold Matte, Midnight Black Pearl, Titan Grey, and Optic White. It has been introduced at an ex-showroom price of Rs 55.7 lakh. According to Hyundai, this updated version brings extensive improvements across key areas, including performance, technology, safety features, and overall day-to-day usability, making it a more refined and capable electric vehicle.

In terms of design, the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 remains instantly recognizable, continuing with its signature Parametric Pixel styling and familiar silhouette. The changes are subtle yet noticeable, including more pronounced front and rear bumpers, sturdier skid plates at both ends, a fresh set of sporty alloy wheels, an updated rear spoiler, and a redesigned high-tech V-shaped garnish lighting element that enhances its modern appeal.

Inside, the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 continues with its user-focused cabin layout, remaining one of the most spacious and premium interiors in its class. The updates this time are aimed at improving practicality, ease of use, and everyday comfort. In addition, it continues to offer heated and ventilated front seats for added comfort.

Safety has also been upgraded, with the inclusion of Parking Collision Avoidance Assist (Rear) and Parking Distance Warning, further strengthening the vehicle’s overall safety package.

On the technology front, the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 comes equipped with the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system and supports Controller Over-the-Air (OTA) updates for seamless software upgrades. It also offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for added convenience, along with Active Sound Design (ASD) for an enhanced in-cabin experience.

The SUV further strengthens security with a remote immobilization feature for improved theft protection via the Hyundai Bluelink app. Additionally, a new in-car payment system has been introduced, allowing users to pay for EV charging directly through the infotainment display.

The SUV also benefits from faster DC charging support, with peak speeds of up to 350 kW for reduced charging time.

Alongside these mechanical upgrades, the price has also been revised. While the outgoing version was last priced at Rs 48.9 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 now comes in at Rs 55.7 lakh (ex-showroom).
