The newly launched Bajaj Pulsar N160 SS has started arriving at dealerships across India, just a day after its official launch. Multiple units have reached showrooms, with customer deliveries now set to commence.

The new Pulsar N160 S and N160 SS represent a major upgrade for the N160 lineup. Bajaj continues to offer the existing 2-valve N160, while the new 4-valve variants bring improvements in performance, electronics and features.
The flagship Pulsar N160 SS is priced at ₹1,42,585 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the N160 S costs ₹1,33,511.
Both new variants are powered by a 164.5cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-valve engine producing 18.5 PS at 9,500rpm and 14.4Nm at 8,000rpm. Bajaj claims a 0-60km/h acceleration time of around 4.5 seconds.
The new engine also gets Electronic Throttle Body (ETB) technology instead of the mechanical throttle used on the existing 2-valve model. This enables features such as four riding modes—Road, Rain, Sport and Off-Road—along with Crawl Technology and traction control on higher-spec versions.
The Pulsar N160 SS gets a 5-inch TFT instrument console with Google Maps integration. The display also supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, adding a significant technology upgrade over the existing model.
Other equipment includes 37mm USD front forks, a 300mm front disc brake, radial rear tyre, adjustable clutch and brake levers, coloured alloy wheels and updated graphics. The motorcycle continues with a monoshock rear suspension, a 14-litre fuel tank and a 795mm seat height.
With deliveries beginning, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 SS is set to compete with popular motorcycles such as the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Hero Xtreme 160R 4V.
Its combination of a new 4-valve engine, electronic throttle, multiple ride modes, traction control and a Google Maps-enabled TFT display makes the N160 SS one of the most feature-rich motorcycles in its segment.
