India Two-Wheeler Sales Report – July 2026: Hero, Honda, TVS, Bajaj, Suzuki & Royal Enfield

India's two-wheeler industry continued its strong growth momentum in July 2026, with the country's six largest manufacturers collectively recording 18,09,513 domestic sales. Compared to 14,99,010 units sold in July 2025, the industry registered a 20.71% year-on-year (YoY) growth, adding 3,10,503 more units.

On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, domestic sales also improved by 3.76%, rising from 17,44,010 units sold in June 2026.

Hero MotoCorp remained the country's highest-selling two-wheeler brand in domestic sales, while Honda and TVS secured the second and third positions respectively.

Hero MotoCorp Continues at the Top

Hero MotoCorp retained its leadership with 5,01,403 units sold in the domestic market during July 2026.

  • Market Share: 27.71%

Despite leading the market, Hero witnessed a marginal 0.30% decline compared to 5,02,890 units sold in June 2026.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India

Honda secured the second position with 4,76,436 units, recording steady growth in both yearly and monthly performance.

TVS Motor Delivers Strongest Growth Among Top Three

TVS Motor posted an impressive performance, registering the highest volume growth among the top three manufacturers.

  • MoM Growth: 6.42%

Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto sold 1,65,747 units in the domestic market.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Records Best-Ever Domestic Sales

Suzuki Motorcycle India achieved its highest-ever monthly domestic sales, selling 1,23,216 units.

  • MoM Growth: 35.01%

Suzuki also emerged as the fastest-growing brand on a month-on-month basis.

Royal Enfield Crosses One Lakh Monthly Sales

Royal Enfield crossed the one lakh domestic sales milestone with 1,05,317 units.

  • MoM Growth: 2.32%

The strong performance highlights the continued demand for Royal Enfield's premium motorcycle portfolio.


Two-Wheeler Exports – July 2026

Exports also witnessed healthy growth during the month.

The six manufacturers together exported 5,19,911 two-wheelers, representing a 29.07% increase over 4,02,805 units exported in July 2025.

Compared to June 2026, exports improved by 2.08%.

Bajaj Auto Leads Exports

Bajaj remained India's largest two-wheeler exporter.

TVS Motor

TVS exported 1,65,744 units, recording:

Hero exported 32,013 units.

  • Market Share: 25.89%

The company also recorded its highest-ever monthly sales.

  • Total Sales: 5,33,416 units
  • YoY Growth: 18.60%

Bajaj Auto

  • Total Sales: 3,88,719 units
  • YoY Growth: 31.21%

Suzuki Motorcycle India

  • Total Sales: 1,42,985 units

Suzuki achieved another record month, supported by its strongest-ever domestic sales performance.

Royal Enfield

  • Total Sales: 1,18,232 units

July 2026 proved to be another strong month for India's two-wheeler industry, with robust growth across domestic sales and exports. Hero MotoCorp maintained its leadership in the domestic market, while TVS Motor topped the overall sales chart after combining domestic and export volumes. Suzuki Motorcycle India and Royal Enfield also recorded milestone performances, reflecting sustained demand across commuter, premium and performance motorcycle segments
