Audi car is gearing up to introduce the third-generation Q3 in India on October 16, 2026. The new Q3 will replace the second-generation SUV that has been on sale in India for around four years and will be locally assembled for the Indian market.

The new-generation SUV brings a significant styling and technology upgrade while retaining Audi's familiar premium positioning. It will continue to compete with models such as the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Mini Countryman.

2.0-Litre Turbo-Petrol Engine

The India-spec new Q3 is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder direct-injection turbo-petrol engine. Reports indicate an output of around 204 hp and 320 Nm.

The engine is expected to be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system sending power to all four wheels.

Audi is expected to offer the Q3 exclusively with a petrol powertrain in India.

New Audi Q3 Gets a Completely Fresh Design

The new Q3 receives a more aggressive exterior compared with the outgoing model. The front gets a larger octagonal grille and a distinctive split-headlamp arrangement with configurable daytime running lights.

The SUV is also expected to feature Matrix LED lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels and redesigned bumpers. At the rear, the Q3 gets connected-style LED lighting elements and an illuminated Audi logo, giving it a more premium appearance.

Technology-Focused Interior

Inside, the third-generation Q3 gets a major technology upgrade. The dashboard features a dual-screen layout, combining the digital instrument cluster with a large central infotainment display.
