Tata Motors is preparing to introduce the updated Tata Tigor Facelift in India, with the launch expected over the next few weeks ahead of the festive season. The refreshed compact sedan is likely to receive a wide range of upgrades inspired by the recently launched Tiago facelift, bringing a more premium design, improved technology and enhanced safety features.
Although Tata Motors has not officially announced the launch date, the updated Tigor is expected to arrive before the festive buying season begins.
The upcoming Tigor facelift is expected to feature a significantly refreshed exterior design. Earlier this year, Tata Motors filed a design patent for the new model, revealing styling changes that give the sedan a more modern and upright appearance.
At the front, the car is likely to receive slimmer LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, connected by a glossy black trim element similar to the Tiago facelift. The front bumper has been completely redesigned with a larger air intake and sharper horizontal and vertical styling elements, giving the sedan a wider and more muscular road presence.
The side profile is expected to remain largely familiar, although new dual-tone alloy wheels could be introduced. Higher variants may also feature camera-equipped ORVMs as part of a 360-degree surround-view camera system.
At the rear, the Tigor facelift is expected to receive updated LED tail lamps connected by a new trim strip, along with a redesigned rear bumper for a cleaner and more premium finish.
Inside the cabin, the updated Tigor is expected to borrow several features from the new Tiago facelift. One of the biggest upgrades could be a larger 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system paired with a fully digital instrument cluster.
