Smart X: New Entry Point

The Smart X serves as the entry-level Series X variant and is powered by Tata's 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a manual gearbox.

Despite being the base version, it gets several useful features, including R-Comfort seats, 17-inch aero-style wheels, flush door handles, multiple drive modes, a rear armrest and a digital instrument cluster.

Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD and hill-hold control.

Pure X Gets a Major Equipment Boost

The Pure X is positioned one step above the base model and brings a considerable jump in features. It gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic climate control and a six-speaker audio setup.

Other additions include push-button start, auto-folding ORVMs, rear AC vents, USB charging ports and a reverse parking camera.

Pure X+ Adds Premium Cabin Features

The Pure X+ starts at ₹11.80 lakh and adds more premium touches to the Curvv.

Key additions include Oyster White leatherette upholstery, R-Comfort seats, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, rear AC vents and a rear armrest with cup holders.

The Dark Edition is also available on this variant, giving the SUV-coupe a darker exterior and interior theme.

Creative X+ Brings More Technology

The Creative X+ starts at ₹12.91 lakh and adds several premium features.

It gets 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 360-degree surround-view camera. Front parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps are also available.

The Creative X+ can also be specified in Dark Edition form.

Accomplished X and X+: Top-End Features

At the upper end of the lineup, the Accomplished X adds features such as ventilated front seats, ambient lighting and a six-way electrically adjustable driver's seat.

The top-spec Accomplished X+ offers an even richer equipment list, including Level 2 ADAS, powered tailgate, connected-car technology, a larger infotainment display, premium audio and advanced cabin comfort features.

The higher variants also get features such as dual-zone climate control, air purifier, wireless charging, automatic parking brake with Auto Hold and connected technology.

Tata Curvv Series X Powertrain Options

The Curvv Series X continues with the existing petrol and diesel engine choices rather than introducing a new engine family.

Engine Power Torque Transmission
1.2L Turbo Petrol 120 PS 170 Nm 6-speed MT / 7-speed DCT
1.2L T-GDI Petrol 125 PS 225 Nm 7-speed DCT
1.5L Diesel 118 PS 260 Nm 6-speed MT / 7-speed DCT

The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines are available with manual and DCT options depending on the variant. The 1.2-litre T-GDI engine is offered with the 7-speed DCT on the top-spec configuration.

Curvv Series X Focuses on Better Value

The biggest change with the Series X is not the exterior design or engines but the way Tata has distributed features across the range. Several features previously restricted to higher variants are now available lower down the lineup.

The Curvv continues with its distinctive SUV-coupe styling, while the Series X brings a revised black grille treatment, updated variant names and broader Dark Edition availability.

Tata has also rationalised the range from eight variants to six, making the lineup easier to understand while concentrating more equipment in the key Pure X, Pure X+ and Creative X+ trims.
