The scooter accounted for around 32.74% of Yamaha’s total domestic sales during the month. On a monthly basis, RayZR sales improved by 4.29% compared with 22,782 units in June 2026.
Yamaha India has also introduced updates to the RayZR and Fascino, which could further strengthen the scooters' presence in the market.
The Yamaha R15 secured the second position with 10,505 units sold in July 2026. The motorcycle registered an impressive 58.61% YoY growth, compared with 6,623 units in the same month last year.

The FZ ranked fourth in Yamaha’s sales chart with 9,912 units. However, it was one of the few models to record a year-on-year decline, with sales falling 10.78% from 11,110 units in July 2025.
On a monthly basis, FZ sales remained almost stable, increasing 0.90% from June.
Meanwhile, the Fascino registered 8,185 units, marking a healthy 50.18% YoY increase over 5,450 units sold a year earlier. However, its sales declined 6.88% compared with June 2026.

The Aerox delivered one of the strongest performances in Yamaha’s portfolio. Sales more than doubled year-on-year, increasing from 2,239 units in July 2025 to 4,544 units in July 2026.
Its 102.95% YoY growth was accompanied by an exceptional 212.30% MoM increase from 1,455 units in June. July also marked the Aerox’s highest monthly sales figure to date.
Yamaha’s EC06 electric scooter registered 294 units in July, compared with 168 units in June. This resulted in a 75% MoM increase.
Despite the growth, the EC06 currently accounts for a relatively small share of Yamaha’s overall domestic volumes at around 0.41%.
No sales were reported for the R3 and MT-03 in July 2026, compared with eight units registered in July 2025.
Overall, July proved to be a strong month for Yamaha in India. The company’s growth was not dependent on a single model, with both scooters and motorcycles contributing to the improvement.
The RayZR remained the key volume driver, while strong performances from the R15, MT-15, Fascino, XSR and Aerox helped Yamaha cross the 72,000-unit monthly sales mark.
The upcoming launch of the Yamaha R2 could provide another boost to the company’s motorcycle portfolio and sales in the coming months
