Equipping some latest updates in terms of safety, comfort and convenience Mahindra Thar 5-door will offer 10 new features over the  Thar 3-door, that make it more stylish, premium and luxurious.

Sunroof -

Undoubtedly one of the most desired features of the 3-door Thar was a sunroof that all Thar lovers want. So finally Mahindra is going to be offering on its elongated version with the metal hard top. In that case 5-door Thar will only get a single-pane sunroof and not a full panoramic unit.

Rear Disc Brakes -

Now, Mahindra is finally set to prepare those rear disc brakes on a Thar 5 Door, although only on its longer-wheelbase version.

Larger Touchscreen -

Now Thar 5-door is all set to get a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen from the XUV400 EV which should also be provided with wireless smartphone connectivity.

Digital Driver Display -

5-door Thar will get a digital driver display (likely a 10.25-inch unit) from the XUV400 EV as confirmed from its spy shots.

Electrically Operated Fuel Lid Opener -

To make it more convenient for car owners or drivers Mahindra is all set to offer an electric release for the fuel lid opening in Thar 5-door. The electrically Operated Fuel Lid Opener’s button is positioned on the control panel located to the right side of the steering wheel.

Reversing Camera with Front Parking Sensors -

In terms of providing more safety features for the Thar owners company is offering a reversing camera. Along with it Mahindra will also be offering it with front parking sensors that 3-door Thar owners are missing.

Rear Centre Armrest -

Thar 5 door will have a rear centre armrest although it is small but truly needed which is missing in 3 door Thar.

Six Airbags -

To provide more safety features company is going to offer six airbags on the upcoming 5-door Thar.

360-degree Camera -

Parking in tight spaces is the biggest issue a car owner faces to make it easier and convenient company is adding a 360-degree Camera in a 5-door Thar.

Dual-zone AC -

It is also expected that the 5-door longer-wheelbase Thar will be equipped with dual-zone climate control as seen on its modern.
