India's 350cc to 450cc motorcycle segment posted another strong performance in June 2026, recording impressive year-on-year and month-on-month growth. The category was once again led by Royal Enfield, whose 350cc lineup continued to dominate the sales charts.
Total sales for the segment reached 1,22,594 units in June 2026, marking a 44.08% year-on-year increase compared to 85,086 units sold in June 2025. On a monthly basis, sales also improved by 10.72%, rising from 1,10,725 units recorded in May 2026.
Royal Enfield maintained an overwhelming lead in the premium motorcycle segment, with the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350, and Meteor 350 securing the top four spots.
The Classic 350 remained the best-selling motorcycle in the segment with 40,660 units, registering 39.38% YoY and 17.53% MoM growth. It alone accounted for 33.17% of the total segment sales.
The Bullet 350 followed in second place with 26,488 units, posting an impressive 54.97% year-on-year growth along with a 13.33% month-on-month increase.
In third position, the Hunter 350 recorded 20,289 units, reflecting 24.77% YoY growth, although monthly sales remained nearly unchanged with a slight decline.
The Meteor 350 ranked fourth after selling 10,941 units, delivering 45.59% YoY and 30.87% MoM growth. Collectively, these four Royal Enfield motorcycles contributed more than 98,000 units, highlighting the brand's commanding position in the segment.
Outside Royal Enfield, Triumph's 350cc motorcycle secured fifth place with 4,692 units, while the combined Jawa, Yezdi and BSA portfolio followed closely with 4,515 units.
Honda also recorded healthy growth, with the CB350 posting 3,821 units, an increase of 61.84% over the previous year. The H'ness CB350 added 2,041 units, growing 54.97% YoY.
Bajaj's Pulsar 350/400 range delivered one of the strongest performances in the segment, selling 1,887 units and recording 103.78% year-on-year growth. KTM's 350cc lineup contributed 1,309 units, while the Dominar 350/400 registered 1,293 units. The Harley-Davidson X440 also maintained steady momentum with 1,197 units sold during the month.
Among Royal Enfield's larger-capacity motorcycles, the Himalayan experienced a decline, with sales dropping 39.10% to 1,240 units. On the other hand, the Guerrilla continued to gain traction, recording 944 units, up 35.63% compared to the same month last year.
The KTM 390 also witnessed lower demand, with sales declining 19.53% to 816 units. The slowdown may be linked to growing interest in KTM's newer and more affordable 350cc offerings.
The positive momentum extended throughout the second quarter of calendar year 2026. Between April and June, total sales in the 350cc-450cc motorcycle segment reached 3,52,341 units, compared to 2,52,566 units during the same period in 2025. This represents a healthy 39.50% year-on-year increase, with nearly 1 lakh additional motorcycles sold during the quarter.
The Classic 350 retained its leadership with 1,13,221 units, capturing over 32% of the segment. The Bullet 350 followed with 74,900 units, while the Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 recorded 62,654 and 29,361 units, respectively.
The combined Jawa, Yezdi and BSA lineup almost doubled its quarterly sales to 13,482 units, while Triumph's 350cc motorcycles contributed 13,005 units.
Honda's CB350 and H'ness CB350 continued their steady growth with 11,974 and 6,274 units, respectively. Royal Enfield's Guerrilla nearly doubled its sales to 5,075 units.
Bajaj emerged as one of the fastest-growing manufacturers in this category. The Pulsar 350/400 range recorded 4,407 units, up 127.40%, while the Dominar 350/400 crossed 2,800 units, more than doubling its previous year's performance. The Harley-Davidson X440 also posted growth of over 100%, reaching 3,780 units during the quarter.
However, not every model enjoyed positive momentum. The Royal Enfield Himalayan registered an 8.24% decline, while KTM 390 sales dropped 51.80%. Triumph's 400cc lineup also reported significantly lower volumes during the quarter, largely reflecting the introduction of newer 350cc models that have reshaped the segment's sales mix.
The 350cc-450cc motorcycle segment continues to witness robust demand in India, led by Royal Enfield's strong product portfolio. At the same time, brands such as Triumph, Honda, Bajaj, KTM, Jawa and Harley-Davidson are steadily expanding their presence, making the premium motorcycle category more competitive than ever before
