1. Maruti Suzuki Car Sales April 2025

Maruti Suzuki reported sales of 1,38,704 units in April 2025, a marginal increase compared to 1,37,952 units in April 2024, resulting in a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 0.5%. This suggests that while the brand maintained its dominant position in the Indian automotive market, its growth has plateaued, possibly indicating saturation or increased competition in its primary segments.

2. Mahindra Car Sales 2025

Mahindra recorded an impressive YoY growth of 28%, selling 52,330 units in April 2025, up from 41,008 units in April 2024. This sharp rise reflects strong demand for its SUV lineup and possibly new model launches or refreshed versions that have been well-received by consumers.

3. Tata Motors Car Sales 2025

Tata experienced a decline of 6% YoY, with April 2025 sales at 45,199 units, compared to 47,883 units the previous year. The dip may indicate increased competition in the electric vehicle or compact SUV segments, or perhaps temporary supply-side challenges.

4. Hyundai Car Sales 2025

Hyundai saw a YoY decline of 12%, selling 44,374 units in April 2025, down from 50,201 units in April 2024. 5. Toyota Car Sales 2025

Toyota showed a strong performance with a YoY growth of 33%, increasing sales from 18,700 units in April 2024 to 24,833 units in April 2025. This surge could be linked to growing demand for its hybrid models or successful partnerships such as the one with Maruti Suzuki for shared vehicle platforms.

6. Kia Car Sales 2025

Kia grew its sales by 18% YoY, selling 23,623 units in April 2025, compared to 19,968 units in April 2024. This reflects Kia’s growing popularity in India, possibly driven by its SUV lineup and premium design language that continues to attract urban buyers.

7. MG Motor Car Sales 2025

MG Motor posted a healthy 23% YoY growth, with April 2025 sales at 5,829 units, up from 4,725 units in April 2024. This performance suggests that MG’s electric and connected vehicle offerings continue to gain traction in the Indian market.
