Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has released Retail Sales of Car for the month of November 2022. Car Retail Sales in November 2022 saw a 21.31% YoY growth according to Car Sales Report of November 2022. On the other hand, sales fell 1.78% as compared to sales in Nov 2020. Total 3,22,070 Car units sold in Nov 2022 and 2, 45,214 units sold in Nov 2021.
All the categories saw positive sales with 2W up 24%, 3W up 80% and Tractor & CVs up 57% and 33% respectively. Maruti Suzuki sold 1,23,409 units in Nov 2022 and 1, 02,158 units sold in Nov 2021. Maruti Suzuki Baleno is the best-selling car in Nov 2022 whereas Alto as well as Swift models also received good attention from buyers in India. Nissan India reported a fall of 10% in November 2022. The company sold 2,400 units in November 2022 and 2,651 units in Nov 2021. From the total sales in November 2022, 2,397 units were from the Magnite compact SUV.
