The facelifted Alcazar introduces significant changes to its cabin, including a dual-tone theme, increased rear space, cooled seats for the second row, and additional features.
Hyundai has unveiled the first images and details of the upcoming Alcazar facelift’s interior, with the price set to be announced on September 9. The updated Alcazar features a new interior design inspired by the Creta, along with some added features.
Hyundai Alcazar facelift: What’s new inside?
The Alcazar facelift stands out with a redesigned dashboard inspired by the Creta, featuring a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen positioned side by side. The interior sports a dual-tone theme in tan (referred to as Noble Brown by Hyundai) and dark blue (Haze Navy). This unique color combination gives the Alcazar's cabin a distinct look compared to the Creta's.
The front and rear captain’s chairs in the facelifted Alcazar now feature new contouring and are finished in the same dual-tone scheme as the dashboard. The second-row individual seats have larger headrests with foldable extensions, offering greater comfort. Hyundai has also removed the fixed center console between the captain’s seats, creating more space and allowing for easier access to the third row. Each seat now has its own armrest, making it more convenient to move between the second and third rows.
Sources indicate that buyers were unhappy about not being able to walk between the captain’s seats to access the third row. In response, Hyundai has redesigned the seats, which now feature improved cushioning and offer greater comfort compared to the previous Alcazar model.
Regarding features, in the six-seat configuration of the Alcazar facelift, all four individual seats can be cooled. However, in the seven-seat option, this cooling feature is limited to the front seats only. The wireless and USB charging pad for the second row has been relocated to the back of the front row’s armrest. The front seats are electrically adjustable for both the driver and passenger, with the driver’s seat also offering a memory function and a welcome retract feature.
The center console of the facelifted Alcazar features brushed aluminum trim and includes buttons for drive modes and an electronic parking brake. Higher variants come standard with automatic climate control. The new Alcazar is also expected to include ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), similar to the Creta, along with a 360-degree camera and blind spot assist. LED lights, a panoramic sunroof, and other features from the current model will be carried over to the facelift version.
On the outside, the Alcazar facelift features a refreshed front and rear design, along with new alloy wheel patterns. For more details on the exterior updates, click here.
