Bajaj Auto is preparing to expand the updated Pulsar range with new TFT-equipped versions of the Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS400Z. Both motorcycles have been spotted at dealerships ahead of their official launch in India. The new variants are expected to receive a 5-inch colour TFT instrument cluster along with revised switchgear and connected features.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is set to receive a major equipment update with the introduction of a new TFT instrument cluster. The display is expected to bring smartphone connectivity, navigation-related functions, call and message alerts, music controls and other connected features.
The updated NS200 has also been spotted with revised switchgear designed to operate the new display. Reports indicate that the motorcycle could be offered in multiple variants, with the TFT-equipped version positioned above the standard version.
The top-spec version is also expected to feature upgraded hardware, including an inverted front fork and dual-channel ABS, while the lower variant could continue with a conventional fork and single-channel ABS. These details are based on dealership sightings and reports and have not yet been fully confirmed by Bajaj.
The mechanical package is expected to remain largely unchanged. The NS200 will continue with its 199.5cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing around 24.5 PS of power and 18.74 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The larger Pulsar NS400Z has also been spotted with the new TFT console at a dealership. The motorcycle currently uses a digital LCD-type instrument cluster, and the new 5-inch TFT unit is expected to offer a more advanced interface and additional connectivity features.
The TFT system is expected to support Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity, including Google Maps mirroring, navigation functions, call alerts, music controls and notifications. Bajaj has also revised the switchgear to operate the additional functions offered by the new display.
Unlike the NS200, the NS400Z is expected to continue as a single-variant motorcycle, although Bajaj has not officially confirmed the final variant structure.
The recently updated Pulsar NS400Z uses a 349.13cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 40.6 PS and 33.2 Nm. The TFT-equipped version is expected to retain this engine without major mechanical changes.
The new TFT display therefore appears to be primarily an equipment upgrade rather than a major powertrain revision.

The arrival of these motorcycles at dealerships suggests that the official launch could take place soon. However, Bajaj Auto has not announced the exact launch date or final pricing for the TFT-equipped NS200 and NS400Z.
The new equipment is expected to bring a price increase over the existing versions. Some reports estimate a modest premium, but the final prices will only be confirmed when Bajaj officially launches the motorcycles.
