JSW MG Motor India has started its anniversary celebrations for the MG Hector, marking seven years since the SUV made its debut in the Indian market. The Hector holds special significance for the company as it was the first MG model introduced in India and played a key role in establishing the brand in the country.
As part of the seven-year anniversary celebrations, JSW MG Motor India has introduced a special MG Hector Anniversary Programme for customers booking the SUV during August 2026. Under this programme, buyers can avail themselves of benefits worth up to Rs 60,000, along with additional financing and accessory-related benefits.
The anniversary offer combines several benefits, including exchange bonuses, loyalty rewards, corporate benefits and special anniversary discounts. Customers who book the MG Hector during August 2026 will be eligible for the programme.
In addition to the Rs 60,000 benefits, MG is offering 100% on-road price funding with loan tenures of up to 84 months (7 years). The company is also extending 100% financing for accessories, giving customers another way to reduce the upfront financial burden of purchasing and accessorising the SUV.
The MG Hector currently starts at Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a competitive option in the midsize SUV segment. Its pricing allows it to compete with several C-segment SUVs while also offering a larger and more premium SUV package.
The Hector received an update towards the end of 2025, bringing revised styling, interior enhancements and a more competitive pricing strategy. It is currently available with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or CVT automatic gearbox.
As the SUV that introduced MG to Indian customers, the Hector has become an important part of the brand's journey in the country. The anniversary programme is aimed at rewarding existing customers while making the SUV more attractive to new buyers during the August festive-buying period.
