Range Rover has launched the new SV Ultra in India, introducing it as the brand’s most luxurious and technologically advanced SUV to date. Positioned as the flagship model in the Range Rover lineup, the SV Ultra carries an ex-showroom price of ₹3.80 crore (New Delhi) and combines handcrafted luxury, sustainable materials, and next-generation technology to deliver an exceptional premium SUV experience.
The biggest attraction of the new Range Rover SV Ultra is its SV Electrostatic Sound System, which marks the first use of electrostatic speaker technology in a production vehicle. The advanced audio setup transforms the cabin into a highly immersive private listening space with 21 ultra-light electrostatic transducers placed across the headrests, seatbacks, and roof lining.
Unlike conventional speaker systems, the electrostatic speakers use an ultra-thin membrane that measures only 1mm in thickness. This technology enables extremely fast response times, allowing the system to deliver sharper sound quality, greater detail, and improved clarity with reduced distortion. The setup is complemented by five bass speakers and Body and Soul Seats (BASS), allowing passengers to experience music through both sound and subtle vibrations.
Adding to the immersive cabin experience is the Sensory Haptic Floor, which creates a multi-dimensional audio environment. The SUV also features six BASS wellness programmes, including Calm, Relax, and Invigorating modes, designed to enhance passenger comfort and wellbeing during journeys.
On the exterior, the Range Rover SV Ultra gets an exclusive Titan Silver paint finish, developed using real aluminium flakes and advanced pigments to create a premium liquid-metal appearance. The design is further enhanced with Satin Platinum Atlas accents, Silver Chrome detailing, and bespoke 23-inch alloy wheels, giving it a distinctive and elegant road presence.
Inside the cabin, Range Rover has focused on modern luxury with a leather-free Orchid White and Cinder Grey Ultrafabrics interior theme. The SUV features laser-crafted mosaic seat designs, sustainably sourced open-pore Rattan Palm veneer, gloss white ceramic elements, matching speaker grilles, and exclusive SV Ultra branding. Premium Kvadrat textile cushions, made using a combination of wool and recycled polyester, further add to the luxurious ambience.
The Range Rover SV Ultra is powered by a 529 bhp mild-hybrid V8 petrol engine, offering strong performance while maintaining the refinement and comfort expected from a luxury flagship SUV. The company has also confirmed that an all-electric version of the SV Ultra will be introduced later this year.
