TVS Orbiter Price Hiked by Up to Rs 4,000 in India

TVS Orbiter Price Revised in India, Electric Scooter Gets Costlier by Up to Rs 4,000

2026-08-12

TVS Orbiter Price Hiked by Up to Rs 4,000 in India

TVS Motor Company has updated the pricing of its Orbiter electric scooter in India, with both versions becoming more expensive across several major markets. The increase is not uniform nationwide, as the revised price depends on the state. The Orbiter V1 has received a hike of Rs 3,700, while the V2 is now up to Rs 4,000 costlier.

TVS Orbiter V1 Price Updated

The entry-level Orbiter V1 now carries a higher effective ex-showroom price in Delhi, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

In Delhi, the V1 is now priced at Rs 91,500, compared with Rs 87,800 earlier. Buyers in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu will have to pay Rs 95,500, up from Rs 91,800.

Maharashtra is an exception to the latest revision. The Orbiter V1 continues to be priced at Rs 91,800 in the state, with no change from its earlier price.

Orbiter V2 Also Gets More Expensive

The higher-spec Orbiter V2, which comes with a larger battery pack, has also received a price increase.

Prices in Delhi, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have gone up by Rs 3,900. In Maharashtra, the increase is slightly higher at Rs 4,000. After the revision, the V2 is priced at Rs 1.06 lakh in Maharashtra, while its effective ex-showroom price in Delhi stands at Rs 1.13 lakh.

The difference in pricing between states is influenced by factors such as local EV incentives, taxation and other applicable charges. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.

No Changes to Features or Mechanical Setup

The latest price adjustment does not bring any corresponding changes to the Orbiter's equipment or mechanical components. The electric scooter continues with the same specifications and feature package as before.

The Orbiter remains TVS Motor's more affordable electric scooter, aimed primarily at urban commuters seeking a practical and relatively economical EV for everyday travel.

Two Battery Options Available

TVS continues to offer the Orbiter with two battery choices. The V1 uses a 1.8kWh battery pack and has a claimed IDC range of 86km.

The V2 gets a larger 3.1kWh battery, allowing it to deliver a claimed IDC range of 158km on a full charge. Both variants have a claimed top speed of 68kph and feature Eco and City riding modes.

TVS Orbiter: What the Price Hike Means

The latest revision makes the Orbiter slightly more expensive in most of the markets where prices have changed. However, the scooter continues to occupy the more affordable end of TVS Motor's electric two-wheeler line-up.

With no changes to its battery options, performance or features, the latest update is purely a pricing adjustment rather than a product upgrade
