Mahindra Car has introduced the updated 2027 Scorpio-N with a stronger focus on technology, convenience and safety. This is not a completely redesigned Scorpio-N or a new-generation model. Instead, Mahindra has refreshed the existing SUV with a number of meaningful upgrades, particularly across the higher-spec Z8 variants.

The Scorpio-N continues to start at Rs 13.69 lakh and goes up to Rs 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant, engine, transmission and drivetrain.

Here are the five biggest changes that make the updated Scorpio-N different from the outgoing model.

1. Larger 12.3-Inch Touchscreen

One of the most noticeable changes inside the new Scorpio-N is the larger infotainment display. The SUV now gets a 12.3-inch floating HD touchscreen, replacing the smaller unit used previously.

The new display retains the key functions available on the earlier system while giving the dashboard a more modern appearance. It is available across the Z8S, Z8, Z8T and Z8L variants.

2. New 10.2-Inch Digital Driver Display

Mahindra has also upgraded the driver's information screen. The updated Scorpio-N now features a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster with HD resolution.

The system continues to provide the important driving information available in the outgoing model, but the larger digital display gives the cabin a more contemporary feel and complements the new infotainment screen.

3. Panoramic Sunroof Added

The Scorpio-N has finally moved from a conventional single-pane sunroof to a larger panoramic unit. This is one of the most noticeable comfort and lifestyle upgrades on the refreshed SUV.

The addition brings the Scorpio-N closer to several newer SUVs that already offer panoramic sunroofs, while also making the cabin feel more open and premium for passengers.

4. 540-Degree Camera System With Blind View Monitor

Safety and parking assistance have also received a significant upgrade. The new Scorpio-N gets a 540-degree surround-view camera system along with a Blind View Monitor.

The setup provides a more comprehensive view around the SUV, making it easier to judge tight spaces and spot areas that may not be visible through the conventional camera arrangement. This is a notable improvement over the camera system available on the previous top-end version.

5. New 18-Inch Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheels

The exterior design remains largely unchanged, but Mahindra has added a fresh set of 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels to give the SUV a newer look.

Apart from the wheel design and the other feature upgrades, the Scorpio-N continues with its familiar bold styling, so buyers should not expect a major exterior redesign with this update.

Existing Petrol and Diesel Engines Continue

Mahindra has retained the Scorpio-N's existing engine range rather than introducing a new powertrain with the 2027 update.

The SUV continues to be available with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both powertrains can be paired with manual or automatic transmission options, depending on the variant, while four-wheel-drive availability continues on selected versions.

2027 Mahindra Scorpio-N: What Has Changed?

The latest Scorpio-N is best viewed as a feature and technology upgrade rather than a complete model change. The larger screens, panoramic sunroof, advanced camera system and new alloy wheels give the SUV a more modern package without changing its familiar design or engine options.

With most of the important additions concentrated on the Z8 range, the updated Scorpio-N is aimed at giving buyers a more premium and technology-focused experience while retaining the SUV's established road presence and mechanical character.
