Mahindra cars has increased the prices of several variants of the XUV 7XO in October 2026, making the popular three-row SUV cars more expensive by up to ₹20,000 (ex-showroom). The latest revision affects multiple petrol and diesel variants, while a few versions continue at their existing prices.
The biggest increase has been reported on the AX7 diesel manual variant, which has become costlier by ₹20,000. Meanwhile, the entry-level AX2 petrol 2WD and the top-spec AX7L AWD automatic have retained their earlier prices.
Following the revision, the Mahindra XUV 7XO continues to be priced between ₹13.99 lakh and ₹25.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Buyers planning to purchase the SUV should check the revised price of their preferred variant before booking, as the increase differs depending on the engine, transmission and trim level.
The October price revision covers several variants across the XUV 7XO range. Petrol and diesel versions with two-wheel drive have received increases, although the exact amount varies by variant.
The entry-level AX2 petrol 2WD remains priced at ₹13.99 lakh. At the other end of the range, the AX7L AWD automatic continues to cost ₹25.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
Most of the affected variants have received increases below ₹20,000. The AX7 diesel manual stands out with the highest reported increase of ₹20,000, taking its revised price to ₹19.80 lakh.
The updated pricing is important for buyers comparing manual and automatic versions, as well as those deciding between petrol and diesel powertrains.

The AX7 diesel manual has received the highest reported increase in this revision, at ₹20,000. Its revised ex-showroom price is ₹19.80 lakh.
Other variants have received smaller increases. For example, the AX3 petrol manual has become costlier by ₹8,000, while the AX7 petrol manual has received an increase of ₹12,999. Several automatic variants have also seen their prices rise.
The amount buyers pay will depend on the selected variant. Customers should compare the updated prices carefully, particularly if they are choosing between a manual and an automatic transmission or between petrol and diesel engines.
The Mahindra XUV 7XO is offered with two engine options: a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine.
The petrol engine produces approximately 200 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine develops around 182 bhp and 450 Nm, depending on the version and specification. Transmission options include manual and automatic gearboxes, while all-wheel drive is available on selected diesel automatic variants.
The combination of powerful engines, multiple transmission choices and three-row seating makes the XUV 7XO an option for buyers looking for a family SUV with substantial performance.
The XUV 7XO offers a range of comfort, convenience and technology features, depending on the variant. Equipment includes a triple-screen dashboard layout, a 540-degree camera system, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting and sunblinds.
Higher variants also offer additional comfort and convenience equipment. Buyers should check the variant-specific feature list before booking, as not every feature is available across the entire range.
The SUV is offered with six- and seven-seat configurations on selected trims, giving customers the option to choose a cabin layout suited to their family and travel requirements.
The latest increase means buyers may need to adjust their budgets when selecting certain XUV 7XO variants. Although the maximum increase is ₹20,000, the actual difference depends on the model and configuration.
Customers who are considering the base AX2 petrol 2WD or the top-spec AX7L AWD automatic will not see a change in the listed ex-showroom price from this revision. However, on-road prices can still vary because of registration charges, insurance, accessories and local taxes.
Before finalising a booking, buyers should request a written quotation from an authorised Mahindra dealership. They should also confirm whether any dealer offers, discounts or booking-price protections apply to their particular order.
Mahindra's October 2026 price revision has made several XUV 7XO variants costlier by up to ₹20,000. The AX7 diesel manual has received the largest reported increase, while the base AX2 petrol 2WD and top-spec AX7L AWD automatic remain unchanged.
The SUV continues to offer petrol and diesel engine options, manual and automatic transmissions, and a choice of six- or seven-seat layouts on selected variants. For prospective buyers, the key step is to compare the revised price of the exact trim they want and confirm the final on-road cost with a dealership before making a purchase decision.
