JSW MG Motor India is gearing up to launch its upcoming premium 7-seater SUV on August 28. Expected to be named the MG Hector Hawk, the new SUV will mark the debut of MG’s advanced ADAPT platform in India and will be offered with multiple electrified powertrain options, including a battery electric vehicle (EV) and a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variant.
Based on the international-spec Wuling Starlight 560, the Hector Hawk is expected to bring a combination of spacious interiors, advanced technology, premium features and electrified performance. The upcoming SUV will strengthen MG’s EV portfolio and compete with models such as the Mahindra XEV 9S, Mahindra XUV 7XO and Tata Safari.
