Domestic two-wheeler sales reached 5,14,764 units, up from 4,21,631 units in the corresponding month last year. The company recorded 22.1% growth in the domestic two-wheeler segment.
Motorcycles and scooters continued to benefit from demand across different price categories. TVS has a wide product portfolio covering commuter motorcycles, performance-oriented Apache models and popular scooters such as the Jupiter and Ntorq.
Electric two-wheelers were one of the strongest growth drivers for TVS Motor in October 2026. The company reported dispatches of 71,382 electric two-wheelers, compared to 32,387 units in October 2025.
This represents an increase of approximately 120.4% year-on-year, with volumes more than doubling over the previous year.
The TVS iQube range remains an important part of the company's electric mobility portfolio. Growing customer interest in electric scooters, an expanding charging ecosystem and the availability of multiple variants have supported the segment's development.
It is important to distinguish company dispatches from retail registrations. The 71,382 figure represents TVS's reported electric two-wheeler sales dispatches. Separately, VAHAN-based retail data reported approximately 60,429 TVS electric two-wheeler registrations during October 2026.
TVS Motor also reported strong growth in its international business. Combined sales across two-wheelers and three-wheelers in overseas markets reached 1,75,350 units in October 2026, compared to 1,15,806 units in October 2025.
This represents an increase of approximately 51.3% year-on-year.
Two-wheeler exports stood at 1,55,915 units, compared to 1,03,519 units in the year-ago period. This indicates that international demand contributed significantly to the company's overall monthly growth.
The improvement in overseas volumes also helped TVS Motor achieve a stronger performance beyond its domestic two-wheeler business.
The company's three-wheeler business also recorded healthy growth in October 2026. Sales increased to 29,455 units from 18,407 units in October 2025, representing approximately 60% year-on-year growth.
Domestic three-wheeler sales reached 10,020 units, while exports contributed 19,435 units.
The international market accounted for the larger share of three-wheeler volumes during the month, highlighting the importance of overseas markets to this business.

Electric two-wheeler dispatches also improved from 65,799 units in September to 71,382 units in October, an increase of approximately 8.5%.
This sequential improvement indicates stronger monthly momentum across the company's key two-wheeler categories.
TVS Motor is expected to continue focusing on its motorcycle, scooter and electric mobility businesses. The iQube range remains central to its electric two-wheeler strategy, while the Apache and Jupiter families continue to serve important segments of the conventional two-wheeler market.
The company is also strengthening its international presence and expanding its product portfolio. Its performance in the coming months will depend on domestic demand, export momentum, competition in the electric scooter market and new product developments.
