Skoda has commenced bookings for the Kodiaq RS performance SUV in India. With production limited to only 50 units, the Kodiaq RS is touted as the fastest Skoda vehicle ever introduced in the Indian market.
Skoda Auto India has started accepting bookings for the new Kodiaq RS, further strengthening its RS performance lineup in the country. The automaker has announced that the flagship seven-seat SUV will be available in a limited batch of only 50 units, making it an exclusive offering for buyers.
Interested buyers can now reserve the Skoda Kodiaq RS by paying a booking amount of Rs 3 lakh. While the official ex-showroom pricing remains under wraps, Skoda has stated that only 50 units of the high-performance SUV will be available in India.
Powering the Skoda Kodiaq RS is a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine that delivers 265 PS and 400 Nm of maximum torque. The powertrain is mated to a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox and comes equipped with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system as standard.
According to Skoda, the Kodiaq RS completes the 0-100 kmph run in 6.3 seconds and can attain a maximum speed of 231 kmph. The automaker states that this makes the SUV the quickest Skoda vehicle to have been launched in the Indian market.

Additionally, the Kodiaq RS comes with Dynamic Sound Boost, a technology engineered to enhance the engine note and provide a more performance-oriented driving feel.
To bolster its dynamic capabilities, the Kodiaq RS comes with Progressive Steering and the newest DCC Plus setup. Its suspension system offers 15-stage damping control, allowing occupants to fine-tune ride comfort and driving dynamics to suit varying road surfaces and driving situations.
The SUV also features multiple drive modes, including Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual, Snow and Off-Road. These modes alter vehicle responses and suspension settings to suit different terrains and driving preferences.

The interior is finished in black leather with red contrast stitching, reinforcing the SUV’s performance-oriented character. For the exterior, buyers will have a choice of four paint shades — Moon White, Magic Black, Velvet Red, and Steel Grey.
The introduction of the Kodiaq RS also marks two significant milestones for the Czech automaker — over 50 years of the RS performance lineage and 125 years of Skoda’s motorsport legacy.
