Bajaj Auto's commercial vehicle portfolio includes three-wheelers and other mobility solutions used for passenger and goods transportation. Demand for these vehicles is influenced by last-mile connectivity, local transportation requirements and small-business logistics.

The growth in both domestic and export volumes helped the commercial vehicle business make a stronger contribution to the company's overall October performance.

Between April and October 2026, the company recorded total sales of 35,79,011 units, compared with 29,23,527 units during the corresponding period of the previous financial year. This represents an increase of 22%.

The two-wheeler business contributed 30,07,707 units during the seven-month period, registering 22% growth over 24,60,094 units sold in April–October 2025.

Commercial vehicle sales increased by 23% to 5,71,304 units, compared with 4,63,433 units in the same period last year.

Exports were a particularly strong contributor to cumulative growth. Total exports reached 17,51,429 units, increasing 42% from 12,33,778 units in the corresponding period last year.

Domestic sales during April–October 2026 stood at 18,27,582 units, up 8% year-on-year.

What Does Bajaj Auto's October Performance Indicate?

Bajaj Auto's October 2026 performance highlights the importance of both domestic demand and export markets in supporting its overall business.

The two-wheeler segment remained the company's largest contributor, accounting for more than five lakh units during the month. Growth in domestic sales and overseas shipments helped the segment maintain positive momentum.

The commercial vehicle business also delivered a strong performance, with domestic sales increasing by 22%. This suggests improved dispatch volumes in a segment that serves passenger transportation and goods movement requirements.

Exports continued to be an important growth driver. The 18% year-on-year increase in total October exports and 42% rise in cumulative April–October exports demonstrate the scale of Bajaj Auto's international business.

However, monthly wholesales should not be confused with retail registrations. Dispatch figures indicate vehicles supplied by the manufacturer to its dealer and distribution network, while retail figures track registrations with customers.

Conclusion

Bajaj Auto delivered a strong performance in October 2026, recording total sales of 5,91,876 units, up 14% compared with the previous year. The biggest highlight was its two-wheeler business, which crossed the five-lakh mark with 5,01,194 units sold.

The commercial vehicle segment also recorded 20% growth, while exports increased 18% during the month. For April–October 2026, total sales reached 35.79 lakh units, representing 22% year-on-year growth.
