The company also manufactures engines for premium global automotive brands like BMW and Mercedes-Benz in India. In fiscal year 2023, Force Motors reported a consolidated net profit of ₹4.35 billion, more than tripling its net income compared to the same period last year, driven by robust demand and a one-time government incentive.

  • Small Commercial Vehicles (SCVs): Compact vehicles designed for urban and rural goods transportation.
  • Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs): Versatile vehicles suitable for a variety of cargo needs.
  • Utility Vehicles (UVs): Vehicles tailored for passenger transport with an emphasis on comfort and durability.

Strategic Shift: Discontinuation of Tractor Business

In a strategic move to streamline operations, Force Motors announced the discontinuation of its agricultural tractor business, effective from March 31, 2024. This decision was part of the company's product rationalization program, allowing it to concentrate on its core segments such as shared mobility transportation, last-mile mobility, and the creation of special vehicles for civil and defense applications. In fiscal year 2023, the sale of agricultural tractors accounted for 3.66% of the company's total revenue.

Sales Performance

In March 2025, Force Motors reported a total of 3,700 units sold, comprising 3,606 units in domestic sales and 94 units in exports. This marked an 11% increase in domestic sales compared to March 2024. Notably, 394 units were sold under a government order from Uttar Pradesh for the supply of 2,429 vehicles.

In April 2025, the company achieved a total of 3,255 units sold, reflecting a 24.05% growth compared to April 2024. However, export sales saw a significant decline, with only 45 units exported, a drop of 87.36% year-on-year.

Force Motors continues to be a key player in India's automotive industry, focusing on its core competencies in commercial and specialized vehicles. The strategic shift away from the tractor segment allows the company to allocate resources more effectively towards its primary business areas, ensuring sustained growth and innovation in the evolving automotive landscape.
