VST Tillers Tractors Ltd. (VST) is part of the larger VST Group which traces its origins back to 1911. The tractor/tiller arm was incorporated in 1967 through a joint venture with Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and later Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery, focusing initially on power tillers and then compact tractors. VST is a pioneer in the power-tiller segment in India and has also offered compact and 4WD tractors (in the ~17-50 HP range) for orchard, vineyard, small-farm applications. Over time VST has built a presence in exports (40 + countries) and continues to emphasise mechanisation for smaller and marginal farmers.
