Two-Wheeler Sales Cross 6.45 Lakh Units
TVS Motor's two-wheeler business delivered a strong performance in September. Total two-wheeler sales increased 23% to 6,45,955 units, compared with 5,23,923 units in the same month last year.
Domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 4,82,073 units, registering 17% growth from 4,13,279 units in September 2025.
The company's international two-wheeler business performed even more strongly. Exports increased 48% to 1,63,882 units, compared with 1,10,644 units in the year-ago period.
The combination of domestic demand and export growth helped TVS achieve a significant increase in overall two-wheeler volumes during the month.
One of the biggest highlights of TVS Motor's September performance was its electric two-wheeler business.
The company sold 65,799 electric two-wheelers in September 2026, representing a massive 110% year-on-year increase from 31,266 units in September 2025.
TVS Motor's electric scooter portfolio includes models such as the TVS iQube and TVS Orbiter. The strong growth indicates that electric scooters are becoming an increasingly important part of the company's overall two-wheeler volumes.
For the second quarter of FY2026-27, TVS reported electric two-wheeler sales of 1,86,186 units, representing growth of 133% over the corresponding period last year.

Total international business sales increased 48% to 1,80,700 units, compared with 1,22,108 units in September 2025.

Domestic three-wheeler sales reached 10,017 units, while exports stood at 16,818 units during September.

Two-wheeler sales during the quarter stood at 18,40,530 units, while three-wheeler sales reached 78,475 units.
