2026 Honda Elevate Facelift Bookings Open Ahead of October Launch

Honda car has opened pre-bookings for the updated Elevate SUV in India, giving buyers their first opportunity to reserve the upcoming facelift ahead of its official launch. The refreshed SUV is scheduled to make its India debut on October 6, 2026, and Honda has previewed several exterior and interior changes through its latest teaser.

The booking amount has been set at ₹21,000, with reservations currently being accepted through Honda dealerships across India.

The facelift arrives as the Elevate approaches the next phase of its lifecycle, bringing design changes and additional cabin technology while retaining the SUV's core mechanical package.

Honda Elevate Facelift: What's New?

The 2026 Elevate facelift receives a noticeable visual update at the front.

The teaser reveals a new grille design with glossy hexagonal elements, giving the SUV a more contemporary appearance. Another significant change is the repositioned Honda badge, which now sits on the bonnet rather than within the grille.

The front lighting has also been revised. The facelifted SUV gets segmented LED daytime running lights, creating a design approach similar to Honda's newer products.

The headlamp units themselves appear to retain a familiar shape, while the lower portion of the front bumper has also been revised.

At the rear, the most noticeable addition is a connected LED tail-lamp design, giving the Elevate a more modern appearance when viewed from behind.

The facelift is also expected to feature revised bumpers and updated alloy-wheel designs, although the complete variant-wise equipment list will be revealed closer to launch.

Interior Gets a More Premium Look

Honda is also giving the Elevate's cabin a visual refresh.

The teaser provides a glimpse of an updated dashboard featuring lighter-coloured upholstery and additional contrast stitching. Ambient lighting has also been incorporated into the dashboard and door-pad areas, adding a more premium atmosphere to the cabin.

The basic dashboard architecture is expected to remain familiar, but the new trim treatment should help the SUV feel fresher compared with the outgoing model.

Honda has not yet revealed the complete interior feature list, so some equipment additions remain to be confirmed.

More Features Could Be Added

The facelift is expected to address some of the equipment areas where the Elevate has faced increasing competition.

Features such as a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control and additional convenience equipment have been widely anticipated for the updated SUV.

However, these features should be treated as expected rather than confirmed until Honda announces the final specifications and variant-wise equipment.

The teaser does confirm that the facelift will continue with a LaneWatch camera, with a camera pod visible on the left outside rear-view mirror.

Engine Expected to Continue

The biggest mechanical change is not expected to come from the engine department.

The facelift is expected to continue using Honda's 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine. In the outgoing Elevate, this engine produces 121hp and 145Nm.

The engine is currently offered with a six-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission.

There is currently no confirmation that the facelift will introduce a strong-hybrid powertrain. The 1.5-litre strong-hybrid system used by the Honda City is not currently expected to be added to the Elevate with this update.

This means the facelift is likely to focus more heavily on design, technology, comfort and equipment rather than changing the SUV's fundamental mechanical character.

Why the Facelift Matters for Honda

The Elevate operates in one of India's most competitive SUV segments, where buyers increasingly expect strong technology, premium interiors, advanced safety features and distinctive styling.

The facelift therefore gives Honda an opportunity to bring the SUV's equipment and appearance more in line with newer rivals.

Rather than completely changing the Elevate, Honda appears to be following a conventional mid-cycle update formula: refresh the exterior, improve the cabin, add new features and retain a proven powertrain.

Bookings Are Now Open

Honda has started accepting pre-bookings for the Elevate facelift with a ₹21,000 token amount through its dealerships.

The company is expected to reveal the complete variant line-up, feature list and pricing at the official launch on October 6, 2026.

Until then, buyers will have to wait to see how extensively Honda has revised the equipment list and whether the additional features result in a significant price change over the outgoing SUV.

What Buyers Can Expect

The 2026 Honda Elevate facelift appears to be more of an evolution than a complete redesign.

The new grille, repositioned Honda logo, segmented LED DRLs and connected tail-lamps should give the SUV a fresher road presence. Inside, lighter trim, contrast stitching and ambient lighting are expected to improve the cabin experience.

The familiar 1.5-litre petrol engine is expected to continue, meaning the facelift will primarily focus on design, technology and comfort rather than a major powertrain transformation.

The opening of pre-bookings marks the next important step in the Honda Elevate's journey in India. With the facelift scheduled to launch on October , buyers now have a clearer idea of what Honda is bringing to the segment.

The major questions surrounding the SUV — including its final features, variant structure and prices — will be answered at launch.

For now, the combination of updated styling, a refreshed cabin and expected additional technology makes the 2026 Honda Elevate facelift one of the key upcoming updates in the mid-size SUV segment.
