Audi India has released new teasers of the third-generation Q3, confirming that the premium SUV is moving closer to its India debut. The upcoming Q3 will replace the second-generation model that has been on sale in the country for around four years.
The third-generation Audi Q3 made its global debut in June 2025 and is now being prepared for the Indian market. As part of Audi India's upcoming product rollout, the company has already confirmed the introduction of the Q3, A5 and Q9 in India, with the Q3 expected to arrive ahead of the Q9.
Audi India has released two teaser images of the new Q3 in quick succession. The first teaser carried the message “Designed to keep you curious. Almost Here”, while the second stated “We’ve shown enough. For now. Arriving Soon.”
The teasers strongly indicate that the official India launch of the new Q3 could take place soon.
The new-generation Q3 represents a significant styling change for Audi's compact luxury SUV. Unlike the relatively understated appearance of the outgoing model, the latest Q3 adopts a more expressive and aggressive design.
At the front, the SUV features a new digital fascia with split lighting. The LED daytime running lights are positioned above the main LED headlamps, while the large grille incorporates Audi's latest 2D logo. Extensive gloss-black detailing further enhances its sporty appearance.
The side profile moves away from the sharper character lines seen on the previous model and adopts a more rounded and sculpted appearance. The wheel arches are finished in body colour, while wheel options are expected to range from 17 inches to 20 inches.
At the rear, the Q3 gets split LED tail lamps connected by a light bar, along with an illuminated Audi logo and a sportier bumper design.
The India-spec Q3 is expected to receive a premium, technology-focused cabin. The interior could feature an all-black theme with contrasting red accents, giving the SUV a more sporty character.
The dashboard is expected to house a 12.8-inch infotainment display alongside an 11.9-inch digital driver's display. Other expected highlights include a three-spoke steering wheel, premium upholstery, silver interior accents and Audi's latest control stalks.
The equipment list could also include ventilated and electrically adjustable seats, adjustable under-thigh support, a premium audio system, 360-degree camera and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Powering the Indian version of the new Q3 could be the familiar 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing around 204 bhp and 320 Nm. The engine is expected to be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
Audi has already been testing the new Q3 on Indian roads. The SUV has been spotted on multiple occasions, including once being transported on a flatbed truck and another time while being driven on public roads.
With the latest teasers now out, the third-generation Audi Q3 appears to be nearing its India launch, where it will compete in the premium compact luxury SUV segment.
