Rather than introducing changes to the powertrain, Jeep has focused on enhancing the Compass with exclusive styling elements, additional equipment, safety-focused accessories and special anniversary-themed details.

The Compass 85th Anniversary Edition retains the SUV’s familiar design, including Jeep’s signature seven-slot grille, LED lighting and muscular proportions. However, the limited edition receives 18-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels along with anniversary-specific detailing and commemorative elements.
With only 85 units allocated for the Indian market, the limited production run itself becomes one of the biggest attractions of this special edition.
Inside, Jeep has introduced an all-black cabin theme with contrasting Mayan Gold accents. Additional detailing and anniversary-inspired elements have been incorporated to give the cabin a more distinctive appearance compared with the standard Compass.
The focus is on creating a more personalised interior without altering the fundamental cabin layout.
One of the major highlights of the Compass 85th Anniversary Edition is the availability of Jeep’s 85th Anniversary AXS Personalization Packages.
The additional equipment includes:
The digital IRVM and dashcams add a practical safety and convenience angle, while the additional lighting elements are intended to enhance the cabin ambience.
Under the bonnet, the Compass 85th Anniversary Edition continues with the familiar 2.0-litre Multijet II four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine.
The engine develops:
Transmission options continue to include a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed torque-converter automatic. Jeep's 4×4 system is also available on higher-spec Compass variants.
Therefore, the anniversary edition is primarily an equipment and styling upgrade rather than a performance-focused version.
The biggest differentiating factor is the extremely limited production run. Jeep has confirmed that only 85 examples of the Compass 85th Anniversary Edition will be sold in India.
Bookings are now open through authorised Jeep dealerships as well as the company's online sales channel.
The Compass has been sold in India since 2017 and is manufactured at the Stellantis facility in Ranjangaon, Maharashtra. The 85th Anniversary Edition is aimed at buyers looking for a more exclusive Compass with additional features and distinctive styling.
At a starting price of ₹26.70 lakh (ex-showroom), the limited-edition Compass adds exclusivity to Jeep's premium SUV portfolio. With only 85 units available nationwide, interested buyers will have a relatively small window to secure one.
The special edition is therefore less about mechanical upgrades and more about exclusive design, added technology, personalisation and collectability.
Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition – ₹26.70 lakh onwards (ex-showroom), limited to 85 units in India.
