Bajaj Pulsar NS200 continues to attract performance-focused motorcycle buyers, and the next update to the popular streetfighter is now generating interest among enthusiasts. Dealer-level bookings are reportedly opening for the updated NS200, with the motorcycle expected to receive a quickshifter and a new Nardo Grey-inspired colour option.
While Bajaj Auto's current official website continues to list the existing Pulsar NS200 and its online booking facility, the company has not yet published complete official details confirming every feature of the upcoming update. The current NS200 is listed with a 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine producing 24.5 PS and 18.74 Nm.
The latest development suggests that select Bajaj dealerships have started accepting bookings for the updated Pulsar NS200 ahead of its expected market introduction.
The development is significant because the NS200 has remained one of the better-known performance motorcycles in the Pulsar range, combining a relatively compact 200cc engine with a six-speed gearbox, liquid cooling and sporty chassis hardware.
Bajaj's official online booking system currently allows customers to reserve the NS200 with a ₹2,000 fully refundable booking amount.
However, dealer-level booking activity for the newer version should be treated separately from the official online booking information until Bajaj formally announces the updated motorcycle.
One of the most noticeable expected changes is the introduction of a Nardo Grey-style colour.
Grey shades have become increasingly popular among performance motorcycles because they give the bike a more understated and premium appearance while retaining the aggressive character of a streetfighter.
The current NS200 colour palette officially listed by Bajaj includes:
The expected Nardo Grey-inspired finish would therefore give buyers a more contemporary alternative to the existing colour combinations.
The exact name, graphics and availability of the new colour should be confirmed by Bajaj Auto at the official launch.
The more important expected addition is a quickshifter.
A quickshifter allows the rider to make faster gear changes without manually operating the clutch for every upshift. On a performance-oriented motorcycle such as the NS200, this can make acceleration runs and spirited riding more engaging.
If introduced as standard equipment, the feature could strengthen the NS200's technology package and make it more competitive against newer motorcycles offering similar performance-oriented equipment.
It could be particularly useful during:
However, buyers should wait for Bajaj's official specification sheet to confirm whether the quickshifter will be standard across the range or limited to a particular variant.
There is currently no confirmed indication that the upcoming update will replace the NS200's core engine.
The current motorcycle uses a 199.5cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, four-valve engine with a six-speed gearbox. Bajaj lists maximum output at 18 kW (24.5 PS) and peak torque at 18.74 Nm.

The Pulsar NS200 is built around a perimeter-frame chassis and uses a rear monoshock. The higher-spec version currently gets a 33mm upside-down front fork and dual-channel ABS, while the lower version uses a conventional telescopic fork and single-channel ABS.
This variant strategy is important for buyers because the higher-spec version offers additional hardware rather than simply cosmetic changes.
The NS200 also features disc brakes and a muscular streetfighter design.
The current NS200 has already received several technology-focused updates.
Bajaj lists:
Adding a quickshifter would therefore complement the existing technology package rather than completely changing the motorcycle's character.

The current Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is listed at ₹1.38 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi on Bajaj's website.
Bajaj's official booking page also currently displays the motorcycle at ₹1,38,302 ex-showroom Delhi, although prices can change by state and update over time.
If the updated motorcycle receives additional hardware such as a quickshifter, the final price could be higher than the existing model. However, the revised price should not be considered confirmed until Bajaj officially announces it.
Dealer bookings indicate that the updated motorcycle could arrive soon, but an exact official launch date has not been confirmed in the information currently published by Bajaj Auto.
Some reports have pointed towards an October 2026 introduction, but the final launch schedule, variant structure, colour availability and pricing remain subject to Bajaj's official announcement.
