Jeep India has unveiled a new special edition of its iconic Wrangler, giving the off-road SUV a distinctive new appearance aimed at buyers looking for something different from the standard model.
Called the Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito Limited Edition, the new version is based on the Wrangler Rubicon and combines an exclusive bright-green Mojito exterior colour with contrasting white styling elements.
The special edition is expected to be positioned above the standard Rubicon in terms of pricing, although Jeep India has not yet announced the final price or the number of units planned for the Indian market. The regular Wrangler Rubicon is currently priced at ₹70.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
The biggest visual change is the exclusive Mojito green exterior finish. Jeep has paired this distinctive shade with several white elements to create the Whitecap theme.
The special edition gets:
The 1941 references are particularly significant for Jeep, pointing back to the origins of the original Willys MB and the brand's long-running four-wheel-drive heritage.
The Wrangler already has a distinctive boxy design, removable-roof character and upright stance. The Whitecap Mojito edition builds on that familiar appearance rather than introducing major body changes.
The combination of green bodywork and a white roof gives the SUV a two-tone appearance. The white grille surround further differentiates the special edition from the regular Wrangler.
The ‘1941’ graphics on the sides add another heritage-inspired element, while the white four-wheel-drive graphic on the rear completes the special-edition treatment.
Interestingly, the Whitecap name has also been used globally by Jeep for a separate Wrangler special edition introduced as part of the brand's Twelve 4 Twelve programme. That global Whitecap model features a Bright White roof and grille accents and was offered on Sahara and Rubicon versions.
The Whitecap Mojito is based on the Wrangler Rubicon, so most of its equipment continues to mirror the standard Rubicon.
The special edition adds an integrated dashcam and reinforced grab handles, while the existing Wrangler equipment includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, ADAS, six airbags, dual-zone climate control and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system with a subwoofer.

There are no major mechanical changes for the Whitecap Mojito Limited Edition.
Like the Wrangler Rubicon on which it is based, the special edition uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 272hp and 400Nm.
The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, with power sent to all four wheels through Jeep's four-wheel-drive system.

Jeep India has not yet announced the official price of the Whitecap Mojito Limited Edition.
The standard Wrangler Rubicon currently costs ₹70.80 lakh ex-showroom, so the special edition is expected to carry a premium over the regular Rubicon because of its exclusive styling and additional equipment.
The final price, booking details and allocation numbers are expected to be announced closer to the edition's market launch.

Jeep India has not yet confirmed the exact production or allocation number for the Whitecap Mojito edition.
That detail will be particularly important because Jeep has previously used limited-run Wrangler editions to create exclusive versions for the Indian market.
In February 2026, for example, Jeep India brought back the Wrangler Willys '41 Limited Edition, with production restricted to 41 units. The company said the earlier version had sold out nationwide in seven days.
The final number of Whitecap Mojito units will determine how exclusive this new edition will be.

Unlike a conventional facelift or new variant, the Whitecap Mojito focuses primarily on exclusive styling and additional touches.
The core mechanical package remains unchanged, meaning buyers are essentially getting the capability of the Rubicon with a more distinctive appearance and special-edition equipment.
For Wrangler buyers who want a more unusual colour combination, the Mojito green body with white elements provides a clear visual distinction.
The arrival of another Wrangler special edition also fits into Jeep's current India strategy.
Stellantis has said that Jeep plans to continue refreshing its existing range with distinctive special editions while its next phase of new-product introductions for India begins from 2027. The company has also highlighted India as an important manufacturing and export location within its Asia-Pacific strategy.
This makes special editions an important way for Jeep to keep attention around its existing products while the next wave of new models is being prepared.
