Honda Unveils India-Made XR300 Rally Motorcycle

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has officially unveiled the all-new XR300 Rally, an adventure motorcycle designed to offer a balanced mix of off-road capability and long-distance touring comfort. The motorcycle is powered by a 293.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is expected to produce around 26.9 bhp of maximum power and 26.6 Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The XR300 Rally has been developed with a strong focus on adventure touring. It features rally-inspired styling, a tall windscreen, long-travel suspension, and an upright riding position, making it well-suited for both highway cruising and challenging terrain.

The motorcycle is expected to come equipped with several modern features, including Honda RoadSync for smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts, music controls, traction control, gas-charged Pro-Link rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes, and switchable dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety and control.

While Honda has not yet announced the official pricing or launch timeline, the XR300 Rally is expected to be priced between ₹2.5 lakh and ₹2.7 lakh (ex-showroom). With significant localisation in production, the motorcycle is expected to offer competitive pricing while delivering premium adventure-touring capabilities.
